Ever After High

the first character i ever fell in love with:
Maddie. I like teal and purple, what can I say. Also, I liked that in a sea of students who were about to take serious sides on the whole Rebel/Royal thing, Maddie really looked forward to her destiny but was also all about supporting everyone's right to choose their own.
I wish they'd find something more for her to do now.

a character that i used to love/like, but now do not:
I waffle on Apple. I get her most of the time, but sometimes I just wish I could shake a fictional character. :P Then again, having finally 'met' Snow White in the EAH 'verse, a lot of Apple suddenly made sense.

a ship that i used to love/like, but now do not:
I don't have one. I don't think I'm too invested in any ship and definitely haven't fallen out of love with any. Maybe I care a little less about my accidental crack 'ship of Darling/Lizzie (which only exists in my head, I suspect, and only because I thought a synopsis said Darling not Daring) but that hardly counts.

my ultimate favorite character™:
Technically Maddie, but I would also throw down for Duchess, Faybelle, Lizzie, Kitty, and Ginger... and Cerise. And Briar... I'm gonna stop now.

prettiest character:
I dunno, they're all rather pretty. I could say Daring because to say otherwise is to invite him to throw a tantrum. :P So I'll cheat and say Thronecoming Cupid is the prettiest doll.

my most hated character:
Ain't the biggest fan of Milton Grimm, but I don't think I actually hate anyone in EAH.

my OTP:
Duchess/Sparrow. I keep waiting for it to be made canon but that'd involve them doing anything with Duchess. Or Sparrow. Sigh.

my NOTP:
Daring/Raven. I don't think I've ever come across it, but I'm sure it must exist. Somewhere.

favorite episode:
The Cat Who Cried Wolf was pretty darn good.

saddest death:
not applicable, but uh... what happened to Maddie's mom?

favorite season:
Special wise, umm... Spring Unsprung or Thronecoming, I think. These work better here than they did in the episode question.

least favorite season:
Chapter 3. For all the stuff I liked, there was a lot of meeeeeeh. And they kept us waiting so long. SO LONG.

I... don't know? Crystal? I don't hate her but I'm kinda meh on her, if that counts.

Someone threw out Blondie/Cedar and I can't unsee it yet. Hell, anything is bound to make Blondie less awful...

Cupid/Dexter. I awww'd in Epic Winter when they were shown in crowd scenes together.

Dawn. First book was Dawn...and Little Miss Stoneybrook. A favorite was born immediately.

*thinks* Laine. When she was good, she was amazing and when she was bad, she was horrible.

a ship that i used to love/like, but now do not:
Well, canon kinda killed Kristy and Bart so that? I don't dislike them, but when they had Kristy rewrite their history at the end, I got a little vexed.

my ultimate favorite character™:
Tigger. :P No? Crap, hell if I can choose between Stacey and Dawn.

Claudia.

my most hated character:
Karen, probably. I don't hate her, I just... enh. She's annoying and her "cute" antics aren't cute.

Stacey/Sam

my NOTP:
I don't think I have one. I don't give a damn at all about the charges growing up and dating one another, though, and fandom loves that. It's not an "ohgodno" it's just a decided "don't care. Next."

favorite episode spinoff:
Look, let's be honest. There's not a lot to choose from and adapting this question could've gone to like... favorite version, but that's no contest. The movie's fun, the show is cheesetastic (but cast stupidly well), but the books are best. The larger dolls are lovely, but to answer the question: The California Diaries. They crank the angst way up and do kind of terrible things to Dawn (sigh) buuuuuuuut they were like crack.

saddest death:
I still cry at Louie. I've managed to work around Mimi, and I cry, but Louie renders me useless. And while it happens off-screen and before the series begins, Abby's father's death when it's mentioned in more than passing also kicks me in the teeth.

favorite season book:
I'm not sure it's my absolute faaaaaaaavorite, but I really like Mallory and the Mystery Diary. It's got a story within a story, some Mal and Stacey bonding, a mystery, and Mal using her brain. Plus who wouldn't want to stumble on a mystery they could then solve? C'mon, it had to have set off a wave of unrealistic expectations about locked trunks.

least favorite season book:
Mallory Pike, #1 Fan. Because Mal would never be so dumb as to not get that fiction is fiction. MAL. I mean, seriously? SERIOUSLY?
Annnnnnd I pretty much stopped reading/buying (even though I was waaaaaaaay beyond the target age by this point) at Farewell, Dawn. Naming the next book Kristy and the Dirty Diapers didn't exactly say "keep reading."

character that everyone else in the fandom loves, but i hate:
Gonna flip this one. Everyone hates Dawn. I still love her because I refuse to accept that ghostwritten Dawn is the real Dawn. :P Also, fandom has a hatred for Kristy but again, ghostwritten Kristy isn't the same as early Kristy.

Okay, future!me. Landlords are a comin' in a few days so you gotta finish up the cleaning you've been putting off for awhile. Tomorrow, you hit the ground running and then you can spend Monday not doing a blessed thing.

This gives me time to fail at this plan and still have Monday as a backup.
