Caught up with This Is Us just in time to be one episode behind after tonight. Yay...? I don't get how people can possibly binge this show, and I say this as someone who binged the majority of 13 Reasons Why which had warnings about doing just that. But This Is Us wrecks me on a regular basis every episode. Three is the most I can manage and it involves taking a short intermission to hunt up food or go outside or basically just not watch for a few minutes because I cry every freakin' episode. And I'm not necessarily a crier for shows and movies.
( mini spoilers? )
A customer and I were talking about this the other day and I felt so old uttering the words, "I don't think they made shows like this for awhile" when she said she hadn't seen anything like it. But it was true and so I said it anyway. Granted, I suppose there could've been shows that just flew under my radar but usually Mums is pretty good at catching them, or Dad did and yeah, I got nothin'.
Completely unrelated, but I rented Trick R Treat and watched it since it's been on my to watch list for eons and ... I don't think I really do scary movies anymore. I liked parts and other parts I kind of watched from the safety of behind my solitaire screen. :p
^--- All from yesterday. Went to the Walmart by work today after I got off and it was a success in terms of the food stuff I wanted but Halloween was meh. Did we get MH minis this year? I couldn't find any at that store, regular or otherwise, but that was also one of the aisles that was clearly under construction with an employee taking up more than half the aisle with carts and stuff so who knows.
