Cold update: Guys, guys, guys. I love my Kahlua Especial when I've got a cold because while I'm sure science would beg to differ, it feels like it sets fire to my throat (in a good way?) and then my cold is over. My cold isn't quite over, but I guess the booze in my icecream makes me not care. Also, last night at work my ears finally popped and I could hear! For three seconds and then I yawned again and it went back to not working but it worked! That kept up for the rest of the shift.
Mums was in an accident last night on the way home. Some asshole rear-ended her and then drove away and so did everyone else at the light. No one stuck around. :/ Mums is okay but not exactly thrilled by the incident.
Which means that tonight's call for icy roads is not making either of us happy. I want work to call and say they'll be closing but I'm thinking, based on my quick perusal of the local news sites, that this will not be happening since the SCDOT is brining the bridges tonight. There's still hope, though. Also, it's possible I might just call work and say nope, not doing it.
