(no subject)

Clearly I'm not going to make my Charmed deadline of today but y'know, it's coming. :P Mom and I went to the beach today, so perhaps later I shall spam you with the pictures. We didn't stay too long but I enjoyed myself. Before that, we stopped at the Dollar Tree where she bought me little Christmas village houses I will repaint for Halloween purposes. :D Also, two bags of Sugar Babies Halloween candy. *dances*

We drove home the loooong way as we looked at decorations near my brother's place before we ultimately stopped at McDonald's and I celebrated the return of the McRib. Don't judge, it's delicious and only available for a limited time.


This evening, after my nap and after dinner, I went out to get the mail and then decided since Mom wasn't up to driving, that I would walk back to the ~fancy~ part of the neighborhood to see if they'd added any decorations. I was pretty sure I remembered a random skeleton display last year and I didn't see it last weekend, so I wanted to see if they'd really given up or if I just hadn't managed to see it.

I'm not sure it was worth the walk, honestly. I will say the view of the water was gorgeous and I did enjoy the graveyard I saw near the start of that part of the neighborhood, but the skellies were really not connected to their house unlike last year (sad) and then I went and walked down what turned out to be a dead end that lacked signage warning me of that and the worst part was the guy in his garage using power tools at 9pm. Sounded like he was sawing through things and I didn't want to think too hard about that while on foot. Plus almost nothing once I made the decision to head that way was decorated. What a waste of so many good porches and steps. :(
