Tis Black Friday and since it is also the year of the plague, that means just about every place is doing their BF sale online. Huzzah? I am, alas, so very broke. Or about to be. And also doing my best to not think about Monday and Mom's procedure. (Which, apparently, I might be allowed to tag along with her for it.)
I've given myself permission to blow my honey money on something. I mentally screamed when I saw Zoya's current promotion because I was pretty sure their limited 70% off sale wasn't their real BF sale but JFC, I didn't expect them to throw the entire winter collection at anyone who spent $35. Alas, I bought the two shades I most wanted from said collection and since I'm ever so bad about actually going to the Post Office (one day!) there's no point in getting doubles. If Ari were still more with it or closer, I might cave anyway but she's not so I shall not. Probably. I'd be more tempted if I loved every other polish.
I'm leaning pretty heavily towards repeating last year's choice and shopping Pahlish's BF/CM weekend sale. Am I leaning towards it because I have once more fallen in love with their gift with purchase shade?
Yes. This year, however, I fell for the cheaper threshold polish so that's progress, right? If you want to play along at home, my current cart has Catbird, Calcifer, Toxic Jungle, Jiji, Ohmu, and Howl's Heart, thus qualifying me for Spirited Away. I might've already placed the order but Comcast keeps glitching (and glitched all day yesterday) and I'm still debating. Lovely, just looked down at the wifi and apparently Comcast is glitching. Again. FUCK. What if I wanted to take advantage of a sale, huh, Comcast?
Thus far AG's sales blow, which is just as well because I'm not really sure I'd want to be truly tempted by anything.
