fuuuuuuuuuuuck

The AC borked Wednesday. Wednesday itself wasn't terrible because the lingering AC air meant it was cool enough until after dinner-ish. Yes, I am totally lying to myself about that. Anyway, yesterday was like living in Satan's fucking armpit and that was WITH buying a fan because my reliable one couldn't withstand Widget. I drugged myself with the knock-off benadryl and dozed (just dozed) for as much of the day as I could but eventually had to wake up and hop in the shower to cool off. Despite emailing them multiple times we didn't hear from the landlords until Mom called sometime after I went up to melt after dinner. The good news is they're working on it. I think. The bad news is apparently everyone's AC died this week. :/

I'm melting and I hate it.


This is extra annoying today because I really fucking want that Dracula MH doll and she drops at noon. Which is basically super hot hell time. So do I try and wake up in time to try and get lucky in the battle of the bots or do I just accept my failure ?


SIGH.

Now, gotta try not to die of heatstroke while also keeping an ear out for the phone since the house phone keeps taking the afternoons off.

To end on a happier note, Meow Meow Huff n Puff is most happy with her pickle toy I got to celebrate her being officially out of quarantine. :D Btw, I had to send DHEC a proof of life picture and that's something I didn't even know I needed on my bucket list.

I've been awake since shortly after 12. But not close enough to twelve to snag Dracula. Motherfuckingshitforbrains still don't make enough to go around.

I have also not been awake by CHOICE. It's so fucking hot that I took a shower after 2 and my hair, which normally can take up to a full day to dry, is mostly dry.

I was not built for heat.
