It's after midnight and the house is still a million degrees! UGH. Actually, it's not that bad down here but that's because I had the back door open for the last *checks* hour or so until I heard the coyotes (seriously, why the fuck are there coyotes in coastal SC?) and decided that nah, I wasn't going to fuck around with that. In a few I'm going to venture upstairs and see if I can coax Adora into the bathroom while I cool down the bedroom for a bit and then shower, but we'll see.
Vet visit went well although I believe in paperwork she's still listed as Boa, despite me filling out her forms with Adora. Since I am still not 100% sold on the name I'm not pushing for it, but thought I'd note it. Got her booster shot of... something so she didn't have to make the return trip later this month and I have to keep an eye out on her mammaries just in case. To celebrate her being given the okay to check out the house from the vet, we let her explore downstairs for awhile after coming back home. She immediately hopped up on Mom's bed (something the boys only did in secret and with much fear of Ozma's ghost) and explored a fair bit, though I did have to grab her out of danger a few times and then take her upstairs when she'd hit the three strikes rule.
I called about my hospital bill(s) and filled out my assistance form, but realized I have no envelope big enough for this so I'll need to buy one.
Oh! I'm too lazy to link to them, but we've got teasers for the new Wednesday Addams show (my expectactions are in the toilet because why the fuck is Wednesday trying to stop crime? I can only assume this is stopping criminals who SHOULD be stopped and not like her fun brand) and Pike's The Midnight Club, which looks interesting as a show but not so much an adaptation of TMC. But it's also very much a teaser and I knew they were going to be changing a LOT about the book so I'm still hopeful.
