impyI feel icky. I suspect I should eat something, particularly since I'm done with my NaNo for the immediate future. I'm happy with what I went back and threw in, because it was going along quite nicely, word-count wise, but it didn't scream me, which is probably a good thing, but I'm stubborn and stupid enough to believe that it should feel like my story, even if I totally stole it from someone else and I'm just adding to it. And yes, I'm not kidding each time I say that. Someone told me the story, I thought "awesome, but how in the hell do you expect me to a) believe that and b) ever, ever EVER sleep again?"
Simple. I twist it, warp it, and wrap it around my wrist until it's my own.
This plan has backfired a smidgen since it's a haunted house story [and now, if he stumbles across this, he'll know I stole his story] and I finally gave in Sunday morning/Saturday night at work, and it was deader than dead after awhile, so I was a little jumpy.
Anyway, my throat hurts, too, and I think I'm gonna hurl. Not really a combination that screams "eat something!" with much confidence. But since I don't want to hurl, food must be found.
Oh! the whole reason I skipped over here. I finished Eclipse last night. Y'know, I love Jacob. I like Edward well enough, but I was rooting for someone to knock some fucking sense into Bella. I could like her, I do like her with Jacob, but around Edward she stands around bemoaning her humanity and how "perfect" he is and it grates on my nerves really quickly. Also, while Alice popped up frequently, she didn't stick around long enough for me. I love Alice more than I love anyone else, although Jacob is such a close second. And I'm iffy about the end.
I love you Jacob, I just wish you'd managed to get Bella to get over her "Edward's so perfect and I'm so very not" thing. Cuz, really, I was feeling bad before, but that just made me feel even worse. Annoyed-sick is not pretty. So who else read it? I'm fairly certain T.S. did, given that he's my literary drug-dealer, at least of this series. Anyone else?
