I promised!

It's a good thing I left a loophole for today in order to share pictures, because while I did take them yesterday, I ran out of time to do much else. Mostly because I'm exhausted. I hate being sick, and having two colds back-to-back, one of them spanning over Christmas is just cruel. CRUEL I tell you.
Anyway, Adsilitia and Milch arrived just before Christmas, and for half a second I seriously thought of waiting to open them on Christmas, but I decided that Milch might actually look cute near the tree. Naturally I didn't even try it once I opened her, but I did think about it. That has to count for something, right?

We'll start with Adsilitia, our drama queen. She is a little on the scary side for a number of reasons. The biggest, and most obvious, is the hair. When she was originally packaged, it was hard to tell if the tufts of hair down by her feet were extensions [Mumsy said yes, I said no] or if they'd threaded her hair down her back and then realized, "Dude! So. Much. Hair!" and out it poofed at the bottom of the box.

Yeah, it was that option. Her hair will probably end up being yanked off by most people because short of display purposes only, I cannot see the curls surviving for most people who like to, I dunno, handle the dolls.

Some people find the bait and switch of the red plaid to the pink plaid a bit annoying and some seem to love it, as it further removes her from the shadow of Fanatica. Personally, I think Fanfan was love and anyone should be so lucky to be associated with her, but Ads here brings me pink and black striped socks, so really, no complains on my end.

Strangely, with the hair issue I mentioned, I love her bangs. Why? No clue. Just do. I love the color of her hair, but there's just so much of it. The evil part of me is waiting for someone to straighten it and see how long it would be if that happened. Come on, someone, fulfill my insane thought and just do eeeeeeeeeeeet!

I also love her eyemakeup and her eyes are...purple love. The only problem is the combo of the color and the makeup as well as all that hair makes them really, really hard to properly appreciate.

And naturally her lids are dark.

But lookit! Lashes that don't look like complete crap! How the hell did that happen?

She's got a lovely cross around her neck, for those who wondered what's with the shiny silver thing.

Her shoes! So itty bitty. Itty. Bitty.
