impyI figured out what that weird smell was. I thought it was the cat and she'd gotten into something but no. It was my shampoo. I hate it when new shampoo seems a-okay and then your hands smell if you twirl your hair or something. Vexing!
So. Watched the last 2 discs from the Angel S1 DVD. Faaaaaaith. *purrs* Cordelia with hair and snark! *purrs louder* Weird dreams? No purr. Still, good stuff. Now to go back and watch the first 2 discs and then manage to find discs 4 & 5. Wheeeeee.
Last night's Charmed. Good episode. Not fan-bloody-tastic, but not god awful drivel either. I didn't like all the AHBL-yness of it, as I've said numerous times. However, I have a reason for why they didn't fix Prue's/Piper's mess. A little blonde witch locked them in Kern's closet over the summer and when they were freed, alas, they could only manage to make the people working on the show forget. :p
- Piper? Woo and hoo. Holly was gorgeous and ever so talented. Loved the Piper/Wyatt scene at the end.
- Paige? Snarktastic. I'm sure I imagine the bitchery between Phoebe/Paige, but it makes me happy, so I don't dwell.
- Phoebe? Not quite as annoying until the end. My fucking God, she weasels out of all responsibility, and with the Cosmos' consent even! Argh. Hrmm, perhaps my rage says I wasn't as fine with her as I thought originally. Alyssa, on the other hand, is a crappy actress. Perhaps I wouldn't have noticed, but I'd just seen a Star Trek: TNG episode with Troi pulling a "I feel all this pain, such horrible pain" scene. Ever so convincing. Or the Cordy snap during the Angel S1 finale? Yeah, Alyssa sucks.
- Leo? Hrmm. Brooding a bit, but that's to be expected. I liked his hostility better when he was trying to scare Chris though. Sigh.
- Chris? Kern & Co, take note. Just buy some neon and make a freakin' sign that proclaims I am NOT gay!" instead of having him hook up with random blondes. It'd be far more subtle. :p
- Wyatt? Not the most adorable baby, but at least he's not the freakiest child they've had. Seriously, some of the little Wys of the past were freakshow ugly.
So, I give it a yay. I now have a headache and I think I need to go make my lasagna. Mmm.
