Something, something, something

impyToday my plans are to escape the room of horrors. I'm hoping to bring home tasty booze, hunt down a shiny for the incredibly awesome zallia, and possibly stop by a bookstore and see if I can find anything for myself or luxken27. Wish me good luck! :D
Now, to update you on the efforts to reclaim my room. We temporarily lost part of the bathroom (Nooooooooo!) but once laundry is done and put away (a novel concept for me) it should be found again, nice and proper. Also made peace with the sink, which was nice. Of course, we're left to wonder how I spent the same amount of time cleaning my room as I did my bathroom, only the room section I tackled was much smaller than the bathroom and I still didn't finish. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?
I'm left to conclude that I was more motivated Sunday and also that yesterday's cleaning involved more sorting and less "ew, I don't even remember when I bought this! Chuck it!" Flipped through old teen-y magazines where I stumbled upon a couple of Jensen Ackles pictures (hello, gorgeous) and enough Hanson, 98*, BSB, and other people deemed hot from the years 96/97 to make me seriously doubt the collective mind. So odd. Also found old prom magazines from 98/99. Prom. So many memories, so few of them anything I would've expected after years of Sweet Valley and TV episodes. Go figure.
In still fluffy but slightly less so news, yesterday was the 8 Simple Rules episode that dealt with John Ritter's death. For the last couple of weeks of miss cat's life, we started watching it (usually something I'd leave on when cleaning prior to this) and I'd been dreading it for kind of obvious reasons. I'll admit it. I cried and not just in that way where I'll pull a Mary Anne and cry at most sad things if the writers have done a semi-decent job of playing to your emotions. I'm talking, "the universe took my father away and it's not fair but dude, tv show, pull back, self!" kind of crying. And then I wished my aunt and uncle were visiting again this year. Or anyone, really. But that's a thought for another time. Need something to drink, to find my bottle of Excedrin, and to finish some laundry.

I'm ashamed (not really) to admit that 98 Degrees and BSB are already featuring pretty prominently in what little English music I listen to these days. I have 98 Degrees and BSB Pandora stations. LOL!
