Mixed bag again

That whole Spring Forward fucked with my ability to tell time by the sun. Usually by now I've got a handle on it but I'm still looking outside and thinking, "Oh, it's like, 4:30." No, self. It's 6:30, so how's that even possible to be so far off?

Ugh.

I've got a mixed bag of a day going on here. I'm trying to kind of ignore the clusterfuck of bad because there is nothing I can do about it (it's Ari's family being incredibly fucking stupid and there aren't enough fucks in this sentence to properly illustrate that fact).

I managed to dash inside the Walmart this morning and grab bubble wrap and tape to send luxken27 her box of WnW goodies. I also remembered to grab Tacky Glue to finish my AG customs and made it back to the car before my icecream melted. Yay!

Then I packed the WnW goodies and put them by the door to be taken to the PO where they were and should be there in record time. :D

Found out that Brittany Daniel had cancer, which is sad, but she's in recovery so that's happy making. I liked her far more on The Game than I did on SVH but that's neither here nor there.

My glasses are ready and I'll be able to pick them up Saturday, which will give me one day of work and two days off to get used to them.


Apparently there's a Charmed Con going on and Twitter has been hosting the most fabulous collection of Charmed people. (Soooo... no Alyssa. No Rose either, but that's more of a sad face thing.) I don't suggest reading the comments because it's ONTD and there's nary a gif to be found, although there is an amusing comic on page 3 or 4, but the pictures in the post are adorable. :D Chris might not have been my favorite character, but Drew is adorable in all of that.


I really think we need to get this Charmed re-watch going sometime. Maybe.

Anyway, it's the first day of Spring and it's quite lovely which sucks for my sleeping abilities. :P

D: The ads for the Psych finale are not appreciated. *weep*

Damn. I was wondering why she'd left The Game (I enjoy her on that show too, tho I've not watched it straight through). It's heartening to know that she was invited back with open arms after such a long time off. Obvs good people on that crew!

Not really related, but my polar bear jammies arrived!!! I'm going to let Cecile try them on first and I'll post pictures later. Thank you thank you thank you for helping me get them! I'll drop a check in the mail tomorrow.

Still unrelated, I started reading Caroline's books. So far I've only finished Meet Caroline but I like her a lot. She's sassy, yelling at the British soldiers the way she did. And I love her mother who's not afraid to take over the shipyard and get the hard work done. No weak women here! :D

I'm definitely going to have to get a Caroline doll. Damn it. :P

Oooh, Caroline books! When people complain that AG has totally lost the magic I just point them to Caroline. Her whole family is filled with strong women. :)


Annnnnnd yes, yes you probably are. If you already liked the doll before reading her books (and both of her mysteries are good, too) then you're dooooooomed.

Heheh, my first thought after she said she was okay and going to be back on The Game was, "yeeeeeeeeeeees! Wait, dammit, now I have to catch up." Because I did not hear good things about the eps without her.
