AG dress up, new holiday edition

impySo yesterday I went out into the world and tried to buy some Halloween spirit. I failed. We're too close to Halloween for there to be a lot of awesome stuff left (boo) and honestly, this year it looked like no one really got a lot of NEW stuff. Hell, most of it looked like they recycled last year's stuff and threw in a case of new stuff (that naturally sold out or was crap) and called it a year before moving on to pumping out Christmas stuff.

irishgypsie's suggestions for AG dress-up, I wasn't exactly in the best place to do much more than point, click, and pray. :P She suggested Saige for the blue dress and Nellie for Samantha's new holiday dress.
We start with Nellie, who was previously lounging around in Rebecca's PJs and robe.
I think I woke her up, actually. She was dozing on Kirsten's shoulder. Bows and Nellie's hair are a strange mix, man.
Better, I think. I bought this when it appeared on the list of things not surviving the BF launch. I think the color is lovely on Nellie. Alas, I'm not as big a fan of Rebecca's PJs.
Time to swap her into Samantha's outfit.
She's not wearing the tights because I'm too lazy to swap out tights for all the various dolls who have been trying this on. Anyway, these are the boots. They're very soft and petable but they look awfully silly. They do have a slight heel, too.
Also, the combo of the boots and the dress makes the dress look even shorter without tights entering the equation. The dress isn't all that short but the boots give the illusion that it is.

Nellie wandered back to the balcony area. She very kindly didn't fuss at my stupid hairstyling because, like I said, headache.
Nellie is awfully wary of the cat.
It's my LJ and I'll share all the pictures I want. :p
Ultimately I think she looks cuter in this than I thought she would. I'm not entirely sold on the neckline of this but it's only bothered me on Nellie so I'm not sure.

Saige really is meant for autumn, eh?
So you can see the hem. I really love this dress but holy geez, is it a weird shade of blue to try and photograph or even look at for a prolonged period of time.
I love this on Saige, maybe as much as the purple dress she wore last year. The blue makes her hair look redder than it is and it makes her eyes sparkle. I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of people putting their Saiges and #61's in this dress this year or next.

I love this blue dress. If they had it in adult-people sizes with sleeves... I'd be so tempted. So very tempted.
