Grace plays dress up!

My plans for the day were seriously delayed by...

Ladies things...
However, Grace and I did get to spend some time doing the, "You're so pretty"/ "No, you're so pretty" dance.
Her braid remains intact. For now.

We begin with a slight alteration to her Meet Outfit and a horrible thing happens. These are the shorts that came with the Coconut Fun Outfit. They don't quite match the pink stripes on her shirt but I figured we'd give it a whirl.
If you do this, beware. The velcro on the shorts snagged her underwear (which is less underwear material and more...swimsuit material. AG, Grace is ten. She doesn't need undies that are gonna give her an infection, k?

Still, it's a cute alternative to the weird bow skirt. (That some people have a serious issue with putting on properly. Some lady is showing pictures of that thing hiked up to Grace's crotch. The hell?)

Coconut Fun Outfit, sans headband and leggings.

I really like this color on Grace, actually. :D

Still cute!

And it works with her Meet skirt! Well, it works for me, anyway. :D

Then I decided to try Samantha's new bicyle outfit out, sorta. No hat or shoes because I was getting a little worried at all of Ozma's visits, truthfully.

Things I did not know about this outfit:
a) the top is incredibly sheer. You can see Grace's torso through the material and it looks orange. Very odd. It doesn't really photograph that way, which is good.
b) the sleeves are a pain to get over the doll's hands. Boo.

Why do you keep pretending your eyes are dark blue, Gracie? Whyyyyyy.

Still think this top is far more Ivy appropriate than Samantha but it's pretty all the same. I do wonder if the sheerness is part of why it was on sale.

Puff sleeve shirt from z!

Random grey scale is random.

I love her in glasses, actually. :D And, unlike a lot of other Josefina molds, she seems to pull them off better.

♥

They photographed crooked, but in person these were by far the cutest. Poor Lane ain't ever getting them back.
That's Grace's mini fashion show for now. I shall resume work on the great list of outfits that I'll post in a bit if you want to make requests. :)
