Too much thought

impyIn today's edition of thinking too much while reading fluff, we discuss the BSC. I'm working on Dawn and the Surfer Ghost and Stacey has been mentioned a fair bit.
So I wonder if part of the reason Dawn went a little overboard when Stacey started to drift away from the club is rooted in the fact that Dawn feels a connection to Miss McGill. There's the no junk food (even though I suspect Stacey would kill for some good fudge) thing, the Dads who are far away (Stacey's is more emotionally distant) and the sort of but not quite amicable divorces. Among other things. Hell, Surfer Ghost has Dawn missing Stace something fierce because she finally gets Stacey's love of surfing.
I had this worded better in my head but you take what you can get.
