Grace, the second wave

impyWe're going to sidestep today's fuckery and just go with our regularly scheduled plans for now.
AG released Grace's second wave of things today (they've been out of stock but online for the last week or so) and some of it's pretty cute. So let's get right to it.
Grace's Sightseeing Outfit & Accessories
She can give her Grace doll a perfect French look with this set! It features a striped tee, a full white skirt, and sandals, plus chic accessories to make the outfit complete.

A striped tee with three-quarter sleeves, sequin embellishments, and a pretty white bow at one shoulder
A full white skirt with a layer of polka-dot mesh
Strappy white sandals with silvery bows
I actually really like this outfit and have since it was first spotted on the book cover. I don't mind the sequins on the shirt as I think it adds to the outfit and while I still have 3/4 sleeves, it's easier to take on an outfit I don't personally have to wear. :P
I'm just not sold on the shoes. I like the idea of them, but on AG feet they look weird. Enh, whatcha gonna do?

A red knit shrug that gathers in a bow
Shiny black boots with diamond quilting and embroidered heart details
Glamorous blue sunglasses for a look that's trés chic
Somewhere I think I have the grey market version of this saved. It's on a nekkid Elizabeth and they didn't bother with anything under the shrug. It's better than this set deserves. I don't mind the pieces although the shrug isn't really my thing, but for $28? Ahahaha, no.
Cute sunglasses though.

That's a lot going on with her stock hairstyle. Maybe if you took the braids out before doing stuff...? I dunno, it's a lot. Also, I've yet to see a Grace that pale in the makeup department without someone having redone her lips. Just saying.

This Paris-inspired stationery set is tr?s magnifique! Includes:
A red paperboard suitcase with an Eiffel Tower graphic and a metal clasp and handle to hold it all

And proving that Grace has some of the best bags, she also has a nice (but expensive) Travel Case for $50. Which automatically makes it a no. :p
Dots & Bows Phone Wristlet for $24 might be more your speed. If not for the price, I might consider this. Maybe I'll finally get to NC to see it in person.
And next week we'll do this all over again with Truly Me stuff and maybe some Beforever goodies.
