Whining about my brain, mostly

impyI hate it when I have a sort of plan and then things derail it. Yesterday was my day off! (Today is as well, but still.) Lea was scheduled for delivery! It was sunny so if I wanted, I could take her out on the balcony and get pictures if I were foolish enough to brave pollen on everything!
I took a small nap, woke up, and then heard a noise at the door. Lea! Yay! I pulled her inside and then made myself some lunch. Things were going well.
Except for the niggling headache I had going on. I chalked it up to falling asleep without eating anything of substance and the lack of caffeine overnight. I remedied both and waited. No magic. Took something for the headache and tried to discuss the boy's taxes. My brain short circuited a few times and by the time Mom came home from her grocery run, my head was swimming. I went up to my room, grumbled about the boy and my headache keeping me from checking out evil!Lea and basically tried to not die.
Yeah, I didn't get to check out Lea until well after dark and even then my brain was kinda mush. New!Lea doesn't look exceptionally evil, but I like her wig better (it's softer and it doesn't have that weird balding spot) though I'll be damned if I didn't spend five minutes waffling between the two. Lea1 is in her box, awaiting the return label. And I do need to buy packing tape sometime today, I guess.
Now to find batteries for the camera and await light so I can take some pictures. I'm hoping the current shipping information is correct and that my sale stuff will be in today.
