Oi, Riverdale.
May. 12th, 2017 10:11 amStarted a thing, got sidetracked by a mini rant. Basically I still need someone to fall on the Riverdale sword with me so we can discuss that finale together.
Also, is mentioning a thing that didn't happen a spoiler?
I was so hoping that Sabrina rumor was true. Show, you've thrown everything including the kitchen sink into the mix right now, you might as well give us Sabrina, too. But if you're saving her for S2, I suppose I can live with that. Luckily, that was the only rumor aside from some vague thing about a cult, that I stumbled across without running away in fear of possible spoilers.
Actually, wait no. I need one thing of the spoilery variety off my chest.
Cheryl attempts suicide by frozen river (she is that dramatic) and Veronica takes her to her apartment because Cheryl's mother is awful. Veronica's mother is just as awful in this episode, but that's neither here nor there. Instead of staying with Cheryl after her suicide attempt, she's left alone at Veronica's until she goes home and Cheryl's it up.
I get that at best Cheryl and Veronica are frenemies at this point, but unless it was someone I literally hated (and that's a very, very short list) I wouldn't leave someone alone after that. Especially not for a party. WTF. They didn't even take her to the hospital or anything.
