This is the same man who literally wore a hole in the tile at the old store because he was obsessed with getting the section right in front of the register clean. I don't think he's going to get over the floor obsession, sadly. :p The only thing I can hope for is that he already knows his floor is impossible to clean and won't murder me for not being able to work that particular miracle.
I know, I am shocked that they would half ass this opening. So shocked. Even more so when I found out that apparently in between the last store opening and this one, corporate got rid of the store opening team. I mean, clearly that wasn't a thing that was needed. Not even a little.
It's been weird trying to figure out why they kept some things and not others. Like those L'Oreal face masks that came out not that long ago (last year maybe)? They sell pretty well whenever there's a sale but all of them just went poof. Of course, it's possible that maybe corporate sent down really outdated planograms because I mean, I know the little siderack I had to put up instilled all kinds of warm fuzzies when I realized it was from 2012. :P
I miss my old Bermuda triangle of a store where things were vastly different from other stores but they made sense to us. Sigh.
