Work me is so much more ambitious about things I'm going to do at home. Home!me is ready to just crawl into bed and sleep til work. Sigh. I have a couple of things I need to do, however, so naturally I'm killing time here instead. :P


Looks like my mystery box is lost. Good job, PO. You're doing a bang-up job so far this holiday season. You've left things in the rain, lied about delivering things, and as we speak, there's a giant box in the mailroom that I'm going to guess that person doesn't even know is there. Sigh.


I was bad and used one of the mini Essie polishes I finally got from Target.com and it's so pretty, I'm gonna die. Venture to the Venue. So. Pretty. One day I'll track down Night Owl from that collection because um, duh. But I figured that since I don't love textured polishes, the minis would probably do just fine. I... might need to get this one in a larger bottle. So pretty! It's like a snowy wonderland on my nails. ♥


Sorry to everyone getting their Christmas card late. I'd really planned to do them on time/early this year and then I got sick and about the time I started feeling okay, it was time to begin my seven days of hell.

Speaking of which, they haven't been too bad, actually. I think Sunday night is when we'll find out if I'm going to break or not, though. Christmas Eve is always intense and so long as I have enough water to keep hydrated and some caffeine later on, I should be okay.

Ooh, that nail polish!! GORGEOUS!! :D Not a big fan of the texture, but the photos with the top coat make it look magical ♥

It IS magical! I kinda hate textured polishes as they can trick my brain into reverting to the nail biting, but these (this one?) is okay-ish after a top coat. It's still textured but not catching on everything. I think if I sat down and did another coat (or two), it'd even out or come really close. Which I meant to do today but then I got behind on my To Do list. Perhaps tomorrow.

I took my cue from you for my holiday polish (though I never got a picture of it) and did a layer of WnW Break the Ice with two layers of RU Free to Dance? from the LE holiday collection a couple of years ago. It does look like sparkly snow on my nails =) but RU is basically clear, so I should've done more than 1 layer of Break the Ice. The polish has drawn up and you can see VNL, but for that first day or two it was ♥ ♥ ♥
