My name is Impy and I have a nail polish problem. :P In my defense, I've found that actually using ebay's coupons tends to encourage them to actually send you more... and um, how was I supposed to continue to ignore how pretty Grover It is? I can only say no so often. That said, there are a few more polishes I'm tempted to pick up from that Sesame Street collection. Alas, a lot of the colors I don't care about were included in the mini set, otherwise I'd just have grabbed that because heaven knows, it's not like I go through any polish completely unless it's clear.

The mini-set includes Living in the Elmo-ment, Fur Real Though, I Count Even..., Grover It, Free to be SesaME, and Beak on Fleek! BoF has been pretty much universally panned by every review/swatch I've seen of it, plus yellow is just a no for me. Elmo-Ment is hard to say and not cute enough to overcome that. Fur Real Though is a bright effing pink and they've never been my thing. I Count Even is ridiculously sheer to the point that I ask why bother.

Which means that yes, SesaME is the other color I'd want out of that set. Remaining nifty colors, to me, are Ernie Your Stripes, which is cuter than it has a right to be, Dat Color Dough, which is pretty and appeals to my inner Cookie Monster, Monsterpiece which is apparently just a pink version of Grover It, annnnnnnnd I Believe in Snuffy which tends to leave most people like "it's...weird?" and that's really all I ask for in life. :P I could be convinced to snag the other two colors (Trash Can Do Attitude and Ah Ah Ahmazing) should I encounter them in the wild.

But yeah, after my coupon I snagged Grover It for 2.95. Huzzah! Not that I need anymore polish but that's neither here nor there.


In other news, Designing Women is hitting Hulu August 26th and I am so excited. :D

Less excited by the fact that my neighbors are still renovating their place and like to do so whenever I am trying to sleep. 2am? Hammering like crazy. 1pm in the middle of the week? Yup. And I swear, it sounds like it's on the other side of my bedroom wall. Woke me up on one of my ~vacation~ days and I was NOT pleased. I haven't murdered them (her?) because this is the same neighbor who moved in shortly before Halloween and quickly put out zombie flamingos.

I had other things to babble about but now that I'm here, I can't remember a single one. Maybe I'll go sit on the couch for a bit.

Sesame Street nail polish?! Whoa. If only I had any feelings for China Glaze that were positive (they suck!). Thank goodness I'm not a fan of the Cookie Monster color, or else I'd be sufficiently weakened enough to perhaps consider overspending on said polish. Grover It is the definite winner of the bunch, so you picked well! =)

My China Glaze forays have been hit or miss but I must say, Grover It managed to survive on my right hand through two nights that would've taken out lesser polishes.

Plus side, not liking CG is probably safer in the long run, wallet wise.

I spotted a couple of the Sesame polishes at Ulta (the salon in this store faces the nail polishes, which is always tempting when I'm having to wait, haha) and I must say, they were not very impressive in person. A couple of OPI polishes, however... make me want that brand to be on sale post-haste!!

Oooooh. That sounds intriguing. Any in particular or just a general "this line looks nifty, gimme!" kind of thing? I must confess OPI's fall line has a few that are calling my name.

As a matter of fact, I took a piccie! So that I could remember them, haha.

They are : Teal the Cows Come Home (teal blue), Do you Sea What I Sea? (cobalt blue), and Chopstix and Stones (royal blue).
