Melody's Easter Accessories // $35
Item#GNH21
Melody can celebrate Easter with her family, and even enjoy an egg hunt, with this set that includes:
A woven paper straw hat with a bow in the back
A button-front knit cardigan
A woven wood Easter basket with Easter grass
A set of three plastic eggs
A chocolate bunny

I am torn. On the one hand: I KNEW my AG wouldn't forget to give us a goddamn Easter bonnet. On the other hand, the hat is underwhelming in all the bright white splendor. I get why AG didn't make this obviously tied to Melody's outfit with a ribbon the same shade as Melody's dress (they want to sell as many of these sets as they can) but as it is, it still looks unfinished. No way in hell is Melody's church going family going to not have something tying that hat to that dress, even if it's something easily taken off.
Otherwise, it's a very cute set that's priced insanely that also looks like osmeone stripped all the color from the hat/cardigan. Will that stop me from buying it? Probably not, though I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up on backorder right away.

Melody's Daisy Outfit // $28
Item#GMF86
Melody will look her finest for Easter Sunday church in this springy outfit:
A green dress with inverted pleats and daisy appliques on the skirt
Diamond-pattern knee socks
T-strap Mary Jane shoes with buckles

My eyes are still blinded by this, and Cass has already declared she hates it, but I have every intention of buying it. Whoops.

Julie's Basketball Court // $65
Item#GMF88
Julie can practice shooting hoops anytime with this wooden-floor basketball court with the Jaguar mascot graphic. The basketball hoop has a metal pole and a nylon net. Her basketball is red, white, and blue striped to celebrate the Bicentennial—the nation’s 200th birthday in 1976.

Zzzzzzzzzz. I think it's better than the last one but fuck all if I know for sure. It's not my thing but I won't begrudge it for anyone who's particularly jazzed about it.

Julie's Home Game Uniform // $30
Item#GMF87
When Julie’s basketball team, the Jaguars, plays on their home court, she and her teammates wear this uniform. It includes:
A sleeveless mesh top with the Jaguars’ graphic and Julie’s number on the front
Sporty mesh shorts with an elastic waist
A pair of knee socks with stripes in her team’s colors at the top
Lace-up basketball shoes with blue chevrons on the side

Sooooooo... I spent entirely too long trying to figure out if they'd added this to Julie's page or not... because it blends in. Which is all I really have to add to my previous thoughts, I suppose.

Julie's Home Game Accessories // $30
Item#GNH22
Julie is always ready to play basketball with her teammates, the Jaguars. This set includes:
A terry-cloth sweatband in her team’s colors
A bouncy red, white, and blue basketball to celebrate the Bicentennial
An “alley oop” bag with Julie’s number, 22, written on the side
A towel with Julie’s name embroidered on it

For someone who loves Halloween, I am not a huge orange person. However, I kinda like Julie's bag? Not sure if it's the rainbow doing it for me, or if it falls on just this side of the 70's that I don't hate with an undying passion. I'm glad they didn't forget her hair accessory, even if it's just a sweatband. This is a set I'd pick up on sale or clearance but wouldn't cry about never buying.

Joss's Wetsuit // $24
Item#GMK21
Joss wears this sleeveless zip-front wetsuit when she, her friend Sofia, and her brothers surf the big, cold waves at Shadow Rock.

This is what Joss has been wearing in her YouTube videos (a rant for another day) and I'll be damned if it isn't adorable and already on my short list of wants from her collection.

Here's a link to the bus which we previously discussed.

Truly Me #86 // $98
Item#GPW80
Brown Eyes, Dark-Purple Hair, Medium Skin
Choose a friend that celebrates who your girl is inside and out. A leader on the sports field. A star on the stage. A whiz in the classroom. With Truly Me, every girl can tell her own story of who she is and who she wants to be.
The 18" Truly Me™ doll has lifelike eyes that open and close smoothly, realistic hair that can be styled, a soft cotton body, and a movable head and limbs made of smooth vinyl.
She arrives wearing:
A printed dress with a mesh hem
A zip-front moto jacket with a star zipper pull
Glittery flat shoes
Includes the paperback book Friends: Making Them & Keeping Them. This interactive book helps girls learn how to make new friends and make the most of the friendships they have. It's full of quizzes, crafts, advice, and true stories.

TAKE MY MONEY. Actually, that was my initial reaction. Then I calmed down a bit and wondered why there's no 87 and finally, I wished that this doll had the candy floss hair, too. Like maybe 87 would be the lighter vinyl version of this hair color and 88 could be the darker vinyl version of the cotton candy hair. As it is, I wish Luci had this shade of hair so then I'd already have this doll. :P

Truly Me #88 // $98
Item#GRM83
Blue Eyes, Pastel Multicolor Hair, Light Skin

*cries in classic mold* Seriously, any other mold, even Joss, and I'd already have her on order. Literally any other face mold, AG. Also, I don't mind the lack of lip color as much on this one as I do on 86. As it is, I suppose I'll sit tight and wait to see how thick these wigs are, as this one in particular looks a bit sparse.

City Market Goodies // $35
Item#GMB32
Dolls can enjoy a perfect market-fresh picnic meal with this set of pretend food. It includes:
A striped canvas structured tote with faux leather straps for holding all the goodies
A bright silk sunflower
Two green apples
A loaf of wheat bread with a paper bread sleeve
A slate cheese board with a twine cheeseboard wrap and a label
A wedge of goat cheese brie with a paper cheese wrap
A clear container of raspberries
A single-serving cherry pie and a single-serving blueberry pie both in mason jar lids
A cloth napkin
A bottle of lemonade
Five faux dollar bills for spending at the market

Not sure how far $5 will go at your local market, but I suspect not as far as AG might like to pretend. :P Anyway, this is the accessory set that when leaked, people were calling Blaire's. Personally, I can see Blaire and Grace in it and now I've concocted a whole universe where they are a Thing and I can't undo it. So sorry, new universe.
Oh, and I think this is cute but I'm unsure whether my want of it is due to the sudden Grace/Blaire thing or the cuteness of the set.

Asthma and Allergy Set // $25
Item#GMB45
This set comes with pretend medicine and supplies to help girls make sure their Truly Me™ dolls with asthma and allergies stay safe. It includes:
A fabric case with a flap and pockets to hold supplies
An orange rescue inhaler and a blue control inhaler with loops so the doll can hold them
A color-coded rescue cartridge and a control cartridge that fit into the inhalers and have spring action when pressed down
An authentic asthma action plan
An inhaler chamber to hold inhalers
A bottle of faux allergy medicine
A pretend travel-size pack of tissues
A container of allergy nose spray
A pretend epi pen
An allergy awareness bracelet with spaces for stickers that identify different allergies
Doll sold separately.
Table sold separately.

This is actually really cute and I totally get why people have been losing their minds over just the thought of this.

Orange Tabby Cat // $28
Item#GMB28
Every Truly Me™ doll needs a kitty to cuddle up with. This posable orange tabby cat loves to snuggle when she’s not playing with her striped toy mouse, which attaches to her mouth with a magnet. Includes a printed paper adoption certificate.

McPiggington! Sure, the cat looks like he's about to kill you but that just adds to the love. There was never any doubt about me buying this ovepriced fluff, btw.

Cat Care Essentials // $35
Item#GMB30
Kitty will have everything she needs with this set that has everything a doll needs to care for her cat. It includes:
A cat tree with a fabric-covered scratching post, a platform, a dangling cat toy, and a plush cushion for naps
A food tray to hold pretend kibble, water, and catnip
Faux food and water that fits in the tray
A container of cat grass
A plastic litter box with kinetic sand litter, a scooper, and four clumps of litter
A sticker sheet to decorate the litter box

Kids, don't decorate litter boxes. Just... don't. That said, I am DYING at the litterbox and yes, yes I will be buying this because I must have it for my little side collection of AG pet oddities. Also, kids, don't have the grass that close to the food and water. That's a bad time waiting to happen. Now, back to giggling over the cat box.

Dog Care Essentials // $35
Item#GMB29
Dolls can make sure their favorite four-legged friend is well-fed and feels loved with this set that has everything needed to care for a dog. It includes:
A plush stuffed bed with a floral print
A collar with a fabric bow and a silver logo tag and butterfly charm
A leash with a clip to attach to the collar
Two paw-print bowls to hold faux food and water
A reversible mat to put the pet bowls on
A sticker sheet to personalize the pet bowls
A bone-shaped chew toy that attaches to the dog’s mouth with a magnet
A ball and ball thrower to play fetch

Ball thrower, for when your doll can't be bothered to get her hands slobbery. This is cute, but it doesn't crack me up the way the cat version does.

Pet Boutique // $250
Item#GMB77
Dolls can take good care of their furry, feathered, and finned friends while they help them find new homes with this set. It includes:
A two-sided store with a fabric awning, hanging sign, and attached counter and shelving
A matte black shopping bag with a pet-friendly slogan
Two paper pet adoption certificates
A nylon webbing leash with a clip for a matching collar
A video monitor with a reversible screen for making transactions in the store
A card swiper that clips to the side of the monitor and a pretend pet boutique rewards credit card to swipe through
Five faux dollar bills
A terry cloth towel for pet baths
A marbled treat platter with a domed lid and bone-shaped dog treats
A soft stuffed pet bed with a fleece center
A pet grooming brush and pretend pet shampoo
A cat tree with two textured scratching posts and two pedestals
A plush gray tabby kitten with green eyes
A terrarium with a removable lid and a yellow LED light inside, plus faux plants, a water dish, a wood shaving floor, and a rock
A Greek tortoise with a two-tone shell
An aquarium with a removable lid and a blue LED light inside, plus a fake sand floor, reefs, two clownfish, and a yellow tang fish
Three pet food bowls
A container of tortoise food and a container of fish food
Three cans of cat food in chicken, tuna, and turkey flavors
A bag of dog food
A wand toy with a sparkly dangling pom-pom and a shiny foil ball toy for the kitty to play with
A spinning toy with tiered rings and balls to keep kitty entertained
A flying disk toy and a bouncy tennis ball for the dog
Two brightly colored lovebirds sitting side by side in a bird cage, which hangs from a hook, has a door that opens, and plays two lovebird sounds
A two-sided faux chalkboard sidewalk sign with room for stickers
Two two-sided pet-themed posters with a frame for the wall
Four sales tags with elastic loops to attach to merchandise
A set of removable shelf label stickers to label treats, toys, and more
A doll tee with an “adopt, foster, donate” message for the doll volunteer to wear
A pretend pet bath tub with a sprayer on a flexible hose that attaches to the tub, and a tub stand with a shelf for the shampoo and towel

Pardon me while I cry because this is something I actually wanted until I heard the price and then realized it was likely never going to happen. I don't think I've ever caved on an AG BTI, though I've come very close a couple of times. This one the stumbling block isn't the size or the storage footprint, as was the case for most of the other BTIs I said no to. This is because it's so fucking expensive and you know that they're coasting on the name to justify the price. I'm not saying this isn't a well thought out set. I'm not saying that Target or Walmart will come out with a better one and not just price wise. (Sometimes they do, especially the years where AG was obviously assuming their name alone would prompt sales.) I just don't look at this set and see $250. :/ I really wanted those birds, too.

City Market // $100
Item#GMB31
The market is bustling and dolls can sell their pretend fresh food and handmade wares with this set. It includes:
A two-tiered market stand made of wood and metal
A patterned fabric table runner to use for display
A mason jar vase
One bunch of flowers
Three tiered display boxes for displaying jam, soap, and scones
A display cloth for under the scones
Four berry scones
A jar each of rhubarb jam, apricot jam, and raspberry jam
Two scented bars of pine soap and two bars of lavender soap with paper label wraps
Two fruit containers with blueberries and strawberries
A square sample plate for setting out tastes
A jam bowl with a jam sample
Three sample scone pieces in cups
A metal spreader knife for the jam
A two-sided paperboard table sign
A two-sided faux chalkboard sidewalk sign
A denim apron with a screen-printed graphic and front pocket
Five faux dollar bills
Two paper business cards
Two natural brown paper boxes for packing up goodies
One sticker sheet for the sidewalk sign and one sticker sheet for labeling boxes and jam jars

In case you were dying to know how fandom has been eying this, it seems to be a pretty even split between giving this to Kit (to go with her market thing) or Blaire. I do love that as soon as anyone started wincing at the price, people rallied with, "but it's better than Kit's!" Ehhhh. I think this is cute as hell, but it's also something I will never buy. I look at it and it's definitely meant to vibe with Blaire's stuff, which makes me like it a bit more than maybe I should, but I also think this is something Target/OG could easily pop out at a better price point and have it be just as good. Finally, you can tell the sneezing has scrambled my brains because I spent a good fifteen seconds wondering why AG was going on about jam-jams...not jam jars.

Bitty Baby Fun Fruit Beach Accessories // $24
Item#GMF74
Bitty Baby can have a fun day at the beach with this set that includes an inflatable striped beach ball, a plastic pail and shovel to make sandcastles, and a round lemon-slice towel to sit on.

I rarely include Bitty stuff in these roundups, but sweet mother of fuck, this is adorable. I'm also including the outfit pieces because I'm kinda debating snagging them to see if they work on the larger dolls. I am not including the pictures of the outfit on Bitty because that is the stuff of nightmares and I love you all too much to force that upon your unsuspecting eyeballs. Should you click the link and blind yourself, that's on you.

Rainy Day Outfit For Wellie Wishers // $24
Item#GMC88
The WellieWishers play outside and explore Aunt Miranda’s garden in all kinds of weather, so this colorful cloud-print raincoat and purple Wellie boots keep them dry.

Something about the color scheme doesn't work for me and I don't know what it is. The orange? The boots? Dunno, but the idea is cute but the execution falls flat. This is generally how I feel about most WW stuff, though, so it's okay.

image host image host image host image host image host image host
Rainy Day Umbrella // $ 12
Item#GNP89
This umbrella really opens and closes! The WellieWishers can look up at the clouds through the clear top. The bottom has a pretty raindrop print.

Oh, how I wish the kid's version was sized for adults. I've been hunting for eons for a cute umbrella and while the doll version isn't my absolute fav, it's still quite cute.

image host image host image host
Shimmering Butterfly Outfit // $24
Item#GMC89
When the WellieWishers flutter about their beautiful garden to celebrate spring, they wear this fancy outfit that includes:
A sparkly butterfly-print dress with glitter-print wings that can be attached to her wrists
Slip-in shoes with a butterfly on the heels
A purple and pink headband with butterfly detail

*shrug* I'm getting Flutterina vibes but not enough to make this anything I'm interested in.

image host image host image host
Cute As A Bug Gardening Outfit // $ 24
Item#GMC90
The WellieWishers are enjoying spring in their greenhouse. This outfit is perfect for planting vegetables and digging in the dirt. Includes:
A green gingham-print dress
A blue-checkered apron with pockets and side ties
Pink wellie boots with yellow bees
A pink headband with a butterfly accent

Little known fact- gingham is one of my weaknesses. This outfit as cute as hell. I'm not in love with the collar, but um, yes. I'd like this, thank you, universe.

image host image host image host image host
WW Greenhouse // $60
Item#GMC91
Gardening can be hard work! When the WellieWishers need a break, they can relax in their greenhouse and have some tea. Includes:
A greenhouse with divided windows, a workbench, pretend garden hose, and leaf-shaped flower pot holder
A stool with a raccoon face for a seat
Three flowerpots
Set of three different flowers that reverse to three different vegetables
An owl-shaped teapot
A set of two teacups with saucers
A shovel and hand rake
A garden box with three plants
A flowery watering can
A sheet of butterfly stickers to decorate the greenhouse
A garden booklet with cute illustrations of butterflies and garden finds

This is cute, but it's one of those sets that I wince at the price and then when you look at the non playset parts, makes me realize just how far up their own arse AG really is. I do really, really love that hose for some reason though.

image host image host image host
WW Garden Wagon // $38
Item#GMC92
Gardening is a little easier when the WellieWishers can load up their wagon with everything they need. Includes:
A plastic wagon with wheels that roll, a pivoting handle for the dolls to hold, and a side gate that folds down to create a bench
A hand shovel
Pink gardening gloves with a “W” on the top
Two different colored flowerpots
Two flowers that fit inside the pots

This is cute but it just makes me think of how much easier all my gardening as a kid would've been with a wagon. Don't talk to me about wheelbarrows as those are meant for racing and are wobbly bastards when manned by children. Don't look at me like that, by now you should know I have nothing meaningful to add to the discussion of WW stuff. It's cute, it's usually not for me, and I would probably put the money towards a real garden wagon had I a garden these days.

There are a couple of Bitty things not included (an outfit and some accessories) and Kit, Josefina, and Addy get their abridged books added to the line-up.

Overall, it's an interesting release. It's also definitely proof that AG is getting back to being fucking expensive as hell.

Oh, and Toyfair brought us this lovely hint for the fall historical:

*squint* Historical how? Are the 90s historical now? I guess this could be 60s... We already have Julie in the 70s. I don't even hope for 80s craziness. 60s though...a flower child. Or White Alternative for Racists Who Won't Buy Melody. SIGH.

I like the birds, so of course they're in a ridiculous set. ALSO SIGH.

Ooh, 80s. I don't even care if she's a blonde classic mold. I'll probably buy her. Dangit! But also excited!
