First, the "might have to take up a drinking problem if this comes to be" news: this morning one of my least favorite customers, the one who went on a thirty minute diatribe about how Covid-19 is a COINSPIRACY and she's gonna sue Bill Gates because she lost her great paying job due to him manufacturing this, cheerfully asks if we're still hiring and I cautiously say yes. She says oh, good, because she's just waiting to be sent for her drug test as she applied and interviewed already.

Guys, I have a very, very short list of people I will actively attempt to fob off on another coworker when possible, and she's on that list. I will happily ring the lady who every so often accuses me of stealing her Arizona tea drinks and is always, always in a rush before I ring Crazy McGee up if given a chance to nope the fuck out. She's got to either be able to seriously fake it through an interview or my store manager is just desperate? Insane? I'm not sure, because nothing about this woman screams, "good or even passable with the general public." And yes, I just mean the night people, k?


In happier news, my second Craft Funko showed up yesterday and I can barely tell there's any box damage for Bonnie. Today should be Rochelle.

Now to take my aching feet to bed and hope not to wake up with my leg cramping.

Doubtful. They're hiring specifically for third shift and with the way things are at the moment, I can't see them training her during the day. I just can't see either of my managers not killing this woman within the first hour. Though I must admit, I would gladly show up during the day to watch her train and have to deal with people because that's going to be something else.

Please fail the drug test or just... never take it and thus never get hired. Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase.
