impyrandom song suggestion if by suggestion I mean command. I do belive T can skip this one. :p Tear in Your Hand- Tori Amos. Now. Go listen. Be it the ToaL version or otherwise. I want to fall asleep to this song just to see what dreams I would have.
He's standing behind her. Right behind her. So close that she can feel him even though they aren't touching yet. It's funny, they've been together for so long but they still feel new. Not that uncomfortable place when they were really newly together and nothing ever felt just right. But that new that happens when things finally click just right and you annoy the piss out of all your friends because you're just so in tune with one another that it's thoroughly unnatural to anyone who doesn't have that in their life.
She holds out her hands to him and he takes her left hand in both of his. His fingers trace patterns over her skin and she closes her eyes without thinking. Everything feels so perfect that for a minute she can't imagine anything being better than this. This tiny touch is better than anything she's ever imagined. His breath is on her neck and she wishes it were possible for her to actually purr. If ever there was a time for purring, this would be it. Heaven...
Her eyelids flutter open and sunlight is streaming in through her windows. She rubs her eyes and tries not to stare into the sun. For a minute she can't figure out what happened, but then she screams.
It was just a dream.
Think that's Tina, but I'm too tired to figure it out. Blame Tori and the 26 hours without sleep. Night!
