Grr. I loathe it when I do something stupid that prevents me from doing what I wanted when I wanted. For example, a few weeks ago I decided that since the universe decided to show me multiple videos on restoring glitter nail polish, I would attempt to restore/revive my dried out WnW glitters! Spent an ungodly sum on the base plus shipping and then when it got here, my brother was (still is) camped out on the couch so I didn't open the box until this morning. When I realized that it did not come with the spout top so now I have to go and buy one of those before I can use it. Which I should've figured out since I've watched more than a few soap making videos (what) and every time she mentions that the company I ordered from is great except 1) shipping is going to be a beast if you aren't nearby and 2) definitely check that everything you need is included in a listing because of the type of store it is.

*headdesk* So I've got a bottle of base but no way to get it into my polish bottles unless I want to see if maaaaaaaaaaybe the droppers I've got from a Zoya drying drops order will work for awhile. But that'd involve cleaning that off and yeah, I might as well just order the tops. Sigh.

Not today, polishes. Not today!

In other news, let's look at cute things I've gotten lately, shall we?


I caved pretty quick on Kanga and Roo from BaB. They're adorable and so very soft, plus I managed to get them $10 off because it's been forever and a damn day since I did a BaB order. Not since Widget loved them, actually, I think. Anyway, Roo comes attached to the pouch but I think if/when I choose to snip that, he'll still stay pretty snug. Turret is trying to photobomb but it's not quite working.



I believe I mentioned I kind of went a bit nuts elsewhere, right? No? Maybe just in my head. Anyway, I was perusing various sites for things and Etsy sent me to Alex and Candy where I immediately fell in love with the Croki pin. Actually, first I noticed the Vi and Powder pins, then fell in love with the poros, found the cute little shark, and then as I waffled, saw Croki and knew I was done for.


I went the slightly cheaper route and got a B grade pin for my shark and uh, this sticker was basically designed to tug right at my misfit toy loving self's heart, right? I love it so much. They included some cute extras as you can see and I am ever so happy. ♥
