Aw, Jesus, I thought I'd escaped the Sunday headaches but no, it slipped in under the wire.

Or maybe the universe is just punishing me for being a petty, petty bitch and cackling like a feral demon at every update on the Rainbow High/Shadow High pop-up thing they did over the weekend and how it was an absolute clusterfuck if you weren't one of the influencers or lucky as fuck. I promise you that I am not playing into the manufacturing feud (because Mattel frequently ain't shit either) but you know damn well how messy MGAE is on a GOOD day. This is both right on brand and surprisingly stupid for them and that, that is the essence of the company for me outside of the actual dolls produced. CACKLING.

I totally did the same thing. The only thing I felt bad about is that Garrett didn't get the twin pack before it sold out and he IS a twin and went WITH his twin. I loved that he openly criticized them on social media and that other people weren't afraid to tell the truth. I get so sick of the MGAE minions. It's nice to see some well-earned criticism.

If they were a decent company, they'd have done a virtual event you could buy a ticket for and then purchase items in the store, which would have been properly stocked. But Larian is a total West Coast snob and I'm not surprised he didn't bother to acknowledge the majority of people who spend money on his products.

I'm just glad it's over so maybe we can finally get proper releases. I'm sick of waiting.
