The wave of AG stuff never ends

impyWhy, oh why, could I not be the person who got the new AG catalog early? WHY.
Pics leaked yesterday of MOST of the new Truly Me line-up. Because I'm killing time until either the new Holo Taco launch OR until I decide nah, I'm going to bed, let's dive in.
Our cover girl molds are: Josefina, Joss, Nanea, and MG. I... don't love the cover. I'm hoping I like it more if I get one but each time I see it, I'm torn between trying to figure out the Josefina mold's eye color (grey? Green?) and getting terrible 00's flashbacks for Nanea's outfit. Love the doll, haaaaaaaaaaate the outfit.
Did a quick and dirty edit so we're not clicking back and forth between a million pictures. I assume you can figure out that Fina is the Josefina mold.
The blurriest one on the far left/full body shot is, I'm assuming, the blonde from the HP pictures, updated!27. So blond, blue eyed. Can't be sure, obviously, given the sunnies.
I'm assuming the next one across the top row is an updated!82.
Next is curly haired Makena and I'll be honest, had I known she was coming, I might not have bought Makena. But I got mine for a deal soooooo... let me just admire this cutie, okay? Very cute.
Nanea mold with caramel hair is very cute.
Next is the Joss mold from the cover (I think) and dude, I think she's stunning. If Maritza gave me Lila vibes, this one is totally Blair Waldorf.
Ignoring the classic mold, I'd totally buy any and all of the top row.
Row 2:
Josefina mold kicks off row 2 and I'm guessing she's an updated 66 or 68, depending on skintone.
Classic mold with funky colors. Not my favorite but I do like the wig.
I'm guessing this is not!Cedric from the HP group pics.
Addy mold is cute but I'm guessing she's an updated!85. Also, why does the Addy mold not get fun colors for hair? WHY.
Row 3:
Jess whose biggest selling point for me is her freckles but you can't see them because a picture of a picture is, y'know, not ideal. But they're cute AF and I love her.
Josefina mold from the cover. I think I'd like her more without the perfect streaks in her bangs. But maybe I'd just like her more not in that outfit.
Soooooo... we've got ourselves a Tenney!MG here and um, I like her more than I should admit. But currently my brain is just wondering, very loudly, why we couldn't have had Tenney like THIS. Brain, hush. Also, squeeing over a second use of the MG mold in this lineup. Eeeeeeee!
Joss the second is also cute. She's giving me Maritza vibes but like, nice Maritza, so not Lila Fowler.
Row 4:
not!Corinne! I am cackling forever at the vexing Nanea fanatic who spent forever trying to convince people that this was the Nanea mold despite looking exactly like Corinne with brown hair and no blue streaks.
I... am in love with this Nanea. I need her. Will I buy her? Who knows. But she's gorgeous.
Sonali Boy is cute.
I'm guessing this Jess mold is updated!84.
And the last thus far:
We've got another shot of rainbow!Nanea and other than continuing to hate her outfit, I think she's lovely.
Cotton Candy MG is an odd one. I'm still pretty damn sure I'm buying her but I do wish she didn't have "bitch, I will END you" eyebrows and the boring blue eyes.
Sonali molds are my weakness and this one is no exception. I love her.
MG the third! ...AG. Are you trying to bankrupt me? I was going to say she's just MG with a tan but the hair's styled differently, obviously, and I'm betting we've got brown eyes and yeah, I think she's cute as heck.
Updated!33 maybe? Eh.
Swing down and see updated!61. If I were going to buy a classic mold, it'd be her. I just hate the way the classic mold's mouth looks these days. I don't like the tongue ... thing. It's weird and hard to explain and very visible in the Jess and Classic molds for whatever reason.
Better shot of the updated!27 and I went ahead and killed the blank space because why not.
Let's circle back and take a look at the outfits.
Hate camo almost always so not loving that any of the dolls I want come in it. Best shoes by far though.
Carebear vibes, here. Not hating the shoes.
I prefer the print shown on the Joss mold with bangs, where the owl eyes are higher up.
Fucking hate leopard print so this took this outfit from one I don't mind to one that bugs me. I know, ti's the tiniest amount and yet my teeth are on edge. I'd totally wear those shoes.
Outfit 5 is... those shoes should be ashamed, for one. I can't say this outfit is overly simplistic because it's not like the others are putting forth that much effort, really, but this somehow feels like less is being done.
Accessory sets. If you could only see the faces I am making right now.
Looks like another Sonali mold boy since this one has bangs and the other one doesn't. That still only brings us to 24 new dolls though.
