Guess we're doing this, huh

Brief because my brain is doing that thing where it pings between 137 different things and settles on something only long enough to make the other braincells shriek, "hey, why are you listening to that one?!" Anyone else? No? Just me? Ah well.
Got word that my coworker is knocking another day off her schedule, in addition to making it very clear she has no intention of going back to working Saturdays even if they do hire someone else so at this point I want to just scream because if they do let her, and I can't imagine they won't, I'll be working by myself more often than not again. What's the fucking point in that? How the fuck is that fair? Can I just say hey, let's dupe her schedule and the days you don't have coverage, welp, guess you'll have to close? No? Then fucking hire someone so I'm not working by myself every day that doesn't begin with a T, goddammit.
Decided that was the push to fucking around with my YT recommendations and found some beginner cross stitch videos and *maybe* a kit or two that I may immediately regret once they get here so no, I shall not be sharing until I've either committed to them or committed and fuuuuuuuuuucked it all up. So either way, you'll see at some point unless this joins my pile of things I think sound fun and then immediately give up on because stuff is hard, mmkay? But I have hope. Hope, I say! Seriously though, it got to the point where the whole search for beginner kits was giving me trust issues as I'd see one and think, "yeah, that seems do able" and then you'd look and it'd say it was for more experienced crafters or the reviews would just scream about how it's NOT for beginners. The plus side of the videos is some of the stuff they showed reminded me that I did, at one point, know some of this stuff so it activated those memories.
Gonna go watch the last two episodes of Paper Girls. Wish my emotions luck.
