impyI'm tired of being sick. I really thought I was in the "rest and recover" portion of my illness, but it looks like I'm either backsliding or coming down with something else. I'm REALLY hoping it's just a case of pushing myself a little too much this morning (Sunday morning. Overnights really do fuck with your sense of time.) and not going to sleep anywhere near on time but I have a bad feeling it's more than that. :/
See, my bedframe was supposed to be here Sunday. It's now not going to be here until Tuesday, if I'm lucky (wtf!) but did I know that when I got home? Nope. So I cleared everything away from my bed to give me room to take apart the old bed and assemble the new one without having to worry about knocking stuff over. Luckily I wasn't dumb enough to start taking apart the old bed, but once I was done moving stuff and Adora was done fishing bits of the old bed out from wherever she was finding them, I flumped on my bed and waited, hoping for signs of movement. And then I chatted with Cass and the next thing you know it's 2pm and I go to lie down and realize I can't friggin breathe without coughing. :/ I eventually managed to make just the right incline out of blankets and pillows and fell asleep, only to wake up to the dreaded "delay" message. I also still felt like shit. Went back to sleep.
Dinner's helped a bit but when I went back upstairs, I felt like shit again. Maybe it's something in my room? Maybe it's just going upstairs. *shrug*
On the plus side, one of my ancient preorders finally came in, so I paid for that. :D
Also, apparently the twins went up on AG's site Saturday night and people put orders through before they got yanked, but we'll be waiting for the official release to go into the remaining stuff. Isabel's got a cat named Buffy though and um, yes. We will be buying that set. Her PJs are not my thing at all but her slippers are cute pink bunnies so maybe. I'm honestly liking the dolls way more than I thought I would (damn you, Ginger Snaps!) but their collection is still very much a hot fucking mess and I am pissed that for the 90's we're basically getting 00's instead. I've been WAITING to be immortalized in AG form in some way and AG's fucking missed me both times. RUDE.
Also rude: the AG fandom realizing it's toxic but not realizing the people pointing it out currently are just as toxic in their own ways. SO CLOSE, guys. SO close.
