I am adorable in both versions. :P Red's got the closer outfit to normal PJs/lounge around the house gear, but black cat!me is probably closer in nearly every other way aside from me being thoroughly unable to wear chokers without them living up to their name. Ah well. You'd never know I did these on different days and had no real memory of what I chose the first time around aside from the cat.

I need to dye my hair again but I also need to cut it first so, we'll see. Plus, no money until definitely after the 15th because apparently EVERYTHING is happening this weekend. o_O

You've got Parade finally appearing, though that one's a crapshoot of availability. There's the HT sale, which I need to look into. And then there's the Fang Vote Rochelle who is the most infuriating mix of want/do not want I've seen in awhile.


This shot? Damn near perfection. I don't love the metallic pink stripes but in moderation they aren't terrible and I get that they're a callback to her original outfit/design.


But this? The pink stripes overwhelm so many other design aspects. Also, what's with this being the only dress shape they seem to do? (I know it's not, it's just bugging me so I'm venting) I think I'd love it if they wiped out the stripes entirely. I'd absolutely love it if they went and they lopped off the bottom tier of the dress (not sure if the cage aspect would also need to be lopped off at that point or not) or if she could just wear that underdress on its own. Because that? Is gorgeous. And it's hidden under layers of too much because otherwise they couldn't charge an arm and a leg for the doll.

But she's so pretty. ;_; Man, I need to just go see if I've got a double of a Rochelle and give her black lips or maybe just enjoy a doll I already have.

Okay, off to see about the sale and if we know anything about it yet.

Funny how tastes differ. I think you bought Ghoulia, who I deemed as too much, and I think Rochelle is perfect, but you think she's too much. I love longer dresses, and all the ruffles and different fabrics under the cage are awesome to me. They seem very Rochelle.

I've seen a lot of complaint about the price, but I think it has to do with her made to order status, not her quality, although that is a bit higher than the rest. People bitch about not being able to get the dolls and oh, wah, "scalpers" bought them all, but then they can't comprehend that the price will go up with the made to order aspect that they're asking for.

I'll be thrilled to put her on my shelves. I think she's one of the best they've done.

Fair enough point on the made to order aspect. I hadn't realized she was going to be one of those (yay!) and if the trade off for not having to pray for a miracle in order to get one is a higher price point, I shall keep my complaints about price to a minimum.

My biggest thing with the stripes is I think the color is too bright. Which is weird because it's one of my favorite shades of pink but taste is different for everyone, like you said. :) I'm glad they're doing different things so even if one thing doesn't work for someone, there's always a hope that something else will. This Rochelle doll though is absolute perfection. ♥

Yeah, I think a lot of people are just seeing the sale start date and not the range. It's the range to me that implies made to order. They've never given a range before. The date itself is also confusing, because I've seen both Thurs and Fri, so I'm wondering if Fang Club has early access or if something was a typo. Her item page says the 13th and then down below says the 14th-16th. It's all weird, but I'll be checking both days. My uncle is in town on Thurs so I'm grateful for the time range. I just hope I'm right about made to order, but what else could it be?

I'm guessing typo since her page now says the 14th when it originally said the 13th for me. If it is made to order, it'd make sense not to have early access since it wouldn't be needed. Still, worth checking both days for sure.
