impyHead, meet desk. Desk, meet head. It's time for you two to be acquainted once more.
My bank called this morning. After I sent a particularly polite "fuck you, give me my money back or I will find new and creative ways to fuck your days up" message late last night. I mean, if you're told that it'll be 24-48 business hours, which would've been up Monday at 10am, wouldn't you think perhaps they'd just decided to go "lol, no, it's our money now" when by end of day you'd heard nothing? Particularly since Option 3 had sent a message BY SNAIL MAIL that arrived sometime late yesterday afternoon/early evening?
Anyway, they are apparently refunding the second fee and tried for half a second to act like it was this generous act and I didn't dignify that shit with a response because no, the only reason that fee happened in the first place is because you idiots got greedy AND got caught. Fuckwads.
BUT the real head meet desk reason is because had they done this yesterday, I would've been able to buy the tiny little thing I wanted that was not available after midnight. :P I was responsible and didn't fuck around but still. I am vexed.
I am also going to have to look up how to change part of my account because after I got off the phone, I had to look up which account feature doesn't start dinging you for being in the red because he didn't seem to get what I was asking when I flat out asked him about it. Apparently the change he was advocating for would put me in the fee-free zone but I needed to look it up just to be sure so I didn't inadvertently go from the good one to the bad one.
Unrelated, Mums and I baked my brother a cake. Ooh. Ahh.
