impyFor the most part I like to think of myself as a relatively patient customer, but I am not loving the current state of my incoming orders because holy fuck, what is going on?
The only thing that's come in relatively on time was my CB membership, and that pissed me off because they misspelled my name. Depending on the label maker, it should've been frickin' cut and paste or at the very least just doublecheck the spelling. :/ I realize it is entirely unreasonable to be this annoyed at such a relatively small thing but dude, you took my money, the least you can do is make sure you spell my name correctly. >:/
Otherwise, my academic AG book shows no sign of movement, though I'm not quite as worried as I imagine their shipping isn't necessarily as quick as anything else I've ordered from.
My AG-proper order is just chillin' in NC for yet another day, but at least it moved at some point.
(it's supposed to be out for delivery today. We shall see what Fedex does.)
There's another order that didn't give me any tracking, so I dunno when it'll arrive, so I'm only twitchy a little about it.
But my Squishable order that I made in the first half of the month has shown NO movement at all since they allegedly printed the shipping label and maybe/maybe not handed it off to UPS. Meanwhile, this is the third day UPS has been like dude, we're totally delivering it today... even though it hasn't shown any movement out of California in like, a week. I'm a little miffed because I ordered Isa's gift the day before I made my order and it arrived on time and yet mine is still lost in the ether. I was hoping it would get here before Mom's birthday in case she liked either of my Mothman babies and wanted one. If not, well, no harm, no foul. I'd still be a little disappointed about them missing her birthday but not nearly as vexed if the shipping info showed any movement of any sort. As it is, it's kind of giving me the impression my package got lost in the shuffle of one of their sales, so each Memorial Day sale email pissed me off. :P
(they emailed last night asking if I minded waiting a little longer to see if it was just a case of the shipping/tracking info not updating while the actual package IS moving, and I said I could wait a little longer. I figure I'll give 'em til Friday to see if anything updates and if not, then I'll email them back.)
Can you tell my period arrived? Was the being ready to murder people a clear enough giveaway?
Oh, my other order is a nail polish preorder but that's not likely to even start shipping til maaaaaaaaaaybe this week, so it's not on my worry list. Speaking of polish, I've been debating sharing the nail polish world's latest two dramas because who doesn't love hobby drama.
And speaking of that, this morning I stumbled across a Reddit thread about this magnetic nail buddy thingamabob which I went ahead and ordered because they have a 25% code and the idea seems very promising, depending on the magnets. I'm not really sure why people always ask for 5 magnet things since...you can't do your thumbs at the same time anyway? And if you are, how the hell are you holding these things? Teach me your ways or accept that 4 is the better deal. I went ahead and just got the one (in purple, duh) because I'm curious as to how well it'll work. I'll let you know.
