figure it all out, too much information

Saw Mona Lisa Smile yesterday. For all the people who bitched about it, I liked it. Of course ever since The Trouble With Angels I will watch even a craptacular movie about boarding school/girls onlycollege. Which might explain some of the movie bombs in my past... Anyway.
Good movie. The biggest problem, for me, was that it seemed to be lacking something to hold the whole thing together plotwise. So at times it seemed like they just strung along a bunch of scenes and called it a movie. Which I guess, technically is what you do. Only I usually don't notice the stringing along because I'm busy involved in said movie because there's something holding them together. That said, that leads into the other problem. I wanted it to be longer. I need to know more. More! Sigh. So, yeah. I consider it to be a good movie and I'm glad I watched it and not just for Tori. :D
...shite. There are, hold on, lemme count, 5 things at the library waiting for me. I was just there yesterday. Bloody hell, Janelle, do your effing job, woman! As of 4:40am, I am 13th in line for Incubus Dreams [new Laurell K. Hamilton book]. Hopefully this won't mean it'll take six hundred years to get to me. I'm not known for my patience.
Now. To finish my book [Killer Pancake], watch some Angelina Ballerina, and get some sleep. Oh, and smores. Yummy!
I love days off. :D

Date: 2004-09-10 01:08 pm (UTC)BTW, where do you get your icons? Do you make them yourself? If so, would you mind horribly if I used a couple, if I credit you?? *Abby lubbs ya* And I'm surprised you didn't change your avatar at ts3 to that new Rose McGowan cover pic.
oh yeah, this is RP3 btw, in case you get confused with all my various journals.
what rose cover?
And I make my own icons. :) If you want to use some, go right ahead. I'm curious as to which ones you'd want to use now. *grins*

Date: 2004-09-10 01:52 pm (UTC)The ones I especially like of yours are: (from your user pic names) holly, these kisses, lie, and sexy beast.
can you tell me what fonts you use, and where to download them, please? I think I'm on a graphic-making whorage!! ;D
Re: what rose cover?
Date: 2004-09-10 02:45 pm (UTC)Lesse. *eyes the icons for font ID*
04b, silkscreen, cage [forever, lie, d, joy], Crosspatchers delight, Gim, Jenkins v2.0, Holstein [crazy], GirlieLeslie [waiting], MandysHand, Razor Keen [save me]
Those I think are all the ones used on the icons. Other fun ones are riverside, romeo, stage.
Not a clue where they can be found, but you might try google-ing 'em. If that doesn't work, I can look for whatever ones you can't find if you want.
