reason #931 I dislike most of the people using ebay or trying to sell stuff.
they'll buy something semi collectible. they'll remove it from packaging, damage it, strip it of half the stuff it comes with, and then decide they don't want it anymore, so they'll put it on ebay/whore it out on mailing lists/randomly IM you/whatever. But they'll be damned if anyone's getting that thing for less than what they paid for it.

If I wanted to buy something from you that had 'only been taken out of the box by you and it cost you, such and such when you bought it' I would be in a fucking shop buying it brand new? Would I not?

People astound me sometimes with their inability to see reason. Or logic. And what's worse is you know some [probably well meaning] idiot is going to come along and spend the same amount on it when they could have gotten a brand new one for the same price, or cheaper. Argh.
