impyLet's play good news, bad news, okay?
Good news: With the possible exception of our store manager, I think I have the most secure job at the store currently.
Bad news: This is because one 3rd shifter is recovering from surgery and the other pulled a shitty stunt yesterday:
Greg, the new guy, showed up for work late. No biggie. He goes and gets his check, then comes up front and so nicely lets me run away for fifteen minutes. I come back, he goes out for a ciggy break at 12:20. Guess who never came back? The little bastard. So I spent two hours fearing they'd try and get me to work Friday and Saturday nights since he was the only one scheduled to work.
I swear, if I see him again, I will kick him so hard in the groin, well... you can imagine the rest of the threat.
I'd continue the game, only I hurt feet wise and I need to make a list of where I want to go and things I wish to accomplish.
And for the pullipy people: Assa [May's girl] is totally gay, if only to vex every single person who's all, "but she can't be because -insert reason here-." :p She is, deal with it, and then, you know, ignore it if it's not how you picture her. But get the fuzzy off my cloud with your whinging about it. You can debate, cuz I find it funny [and if you can't debate a doll's sexuality, what can you debate?] but at the end of the day, you know her button says queer and with her mechanic ways and her rainbow fetish, she's not interested in the non existant Namu. She wants to get with your Pullips, baby.
[it's up to you to figure out how much of that was sarcasm and how much I meant. Namely because I have no idea. ;) ]
Off to make lists and bundle up cuz damn it's a wee bit nippy.

I totally forgot about Mercu when they went up for presale. Emailed the PullipParade people and they said they were out of "presale" room. :( Oh well.

Date: 2005-03-20 08:25 am (UTC)Assa doesn't do much for me other than amuse me in that people are spazzing over whether she's gay or not. She's not on my pre-order list, and I don't think she'll ever come play with Alice and the girls. I could be wrong, but I think not.
And Mercu's like... freakishly popular. It's as if everyone who wanted a Pullip in the next few months all decided on her. Poor Jupi is massively underloved in comparison.
