Feb. 12th, 2003 12:51 amIn this picture for the WB, Jess looks an awful lot like Kirk. A lot. Freaky. Also, while channel surfing during commercials, I was momentarily confused by how similar Rory and Lorelai looked in tonight's episode. With the curly hair and the head down reading... Whoa.
Moving onward:
Buffy:
Can't really say much about the episode, but it was good. Not knock me on my ass, make up for last week good [as Kennedy is still showing no signs of being shipped off], but pretty good. I love Giles [not that way though] and when he's around, everything seems that much better. I also like the fact that we got an explination [Finally.] for how he survived, though weird... I like Chao Ahn [C.A.] and hope she finds someway to communicate with someone really fast. You'd think magic would have some sort of crash course in universal language understanding... Or something. :p The show still feels too short for the number of characters running around, and I'm wondering if it even clocks in [without the credits at either end] at 40 minutes.
The Xander subplot was funny, though still not exactly thrilled we had to have someone guest star as the demony love interest. She wasn't awful, but... not really worth it to have someone guest for just that. :p
FE was fun, and I like Andrew, even if he is obviously fluent in the geekese, and probably invented his own version of the language. ;)
Overall, good solid episode. The trailer for next week's episode was so good, I thought I imagined it. UPN usually gives shitty trailers but this one.. Goodness!

Oh, dunno if any one reads [this] Fearless or is looking forward to the TV show that is in the works, but if you, you could go to Fearless Online and join the insanity. Not much currently, but looks interesting. I'm Tatiana there. Referals are nice, just because currently I'm queen of them. *flitters off*
