Good fluffy, sorta campy fun. Somehow I doubt I'm the only one flashing back to Chick Flick, but if I am, I can live with that.
My biggest complaint was Piper's complete dismissal of Leo's need to be helped too. Since when does he not rate high enough to at least get some sympathy from his wife? Sure, he's been ignoring her, but there's ignoring, and then there's just plain being rude. Leo at least acknowledged part of her. Piper didn't even do that. :p Probably content to just let him stay preggers. Which would have been comedic fun, but.. instead it was just kinda bitchy. But made up for when the truth of the dream was revealed. My little 'shipper heart beats that much happier.
Slappy and Paige stole the show for me. Slappy was funny and creepy and horribly underused. But better underused [for some] than overused to the point of annoyance, I suppose. Worth it to sit through it again for him alone. Paige's comments were funny, though someone wise pointed out that the cameras tend to linger on her "that wasn't so funny, so I'll make a face to make it better" face a little too much and a little too long. Hadn't even thought that she might project muchly on the baby, due to her own secret birth, and yet, it makes sense. *amazed*
Not surprised Phoebe's dream monsters were the ones who trashed the house, and surprisingly enough, I didn't scream at a world with 4 Phoebes. Was annoyed at her constant "It must be Cole!" refrain, but hopefully that'll be the last of that. What? A girl can dream, can't she?
.....pun not intended.
Other little things:
- We get to meet more of Piper's friends: Condescending and Blonde. Glad to see she spent so much time with them and interracted so well.
- Yay! The brief return of HyperPiper.
- Cute ending scene, with them all asleep. Awww.
And something I noticed, but fear might just be my eyes: When Leo is telling them what "creature" Phoebe has seen, Phoebe's close ups are all fuzzy and soft while everyone else's are clear. Weirdness
