Jul. 2nd, 2003 04:29 pm I'm thinking my time at TS3 is numbered. Which, y'know, sucks. But I'm paranoid, so one never knows. Just little cryptic things floating around. *shrug*
So, what happens if you combine Birds of Prey, the Matrix, and The Crow? You get a movie that is, surprisingly, not being sued by any of the above. Underworld has some fight scenes that really do look like the makers of The Crow & Matrix smooshed their ideas together and this was the result. And then you have someone who walks, fights, and runs [not to mention broods atop gargoyles] just like Helena/Huntress from BoP to the point that one might get confused if they saw the pictures side by side. Still, I kinda wanna see it, although it screams "the best I'll ever be is a cult film!" Which is never good for something that is basically running away with the look of one of the more beloved cultish films around. [crow] :p
And just because you didn't want to know:
the last few books read by me
- The Parallel Universe of Liars by Kathleen Jeffrie Johnson
- Indigo by Alice Hoffman
- Aquamarine by Alice Hoffman [actually, I got the combo book and the Indigo novella, so, yeah. don't I feel like a jackass now for not paying attention?]
- Truth or Dairy by Catherine Clark
- Little Altars Everywhere by Rebecca Wells
I bet you can't wait to run out and read too, eh? :p
