chapped lips and tv
Nov. 19th, 2003 01:38 amGood lord, the dear Prudence [of justshannen.com, i'm sure they've told you many times] blew the Howard Stern thing out of proportion. You'd think as a fan you'd at least attempt to not kill her just when most of the tentative fans came back. But no, you'd think wrong. Jesus. I know the TV version is edited and all, but there was no "I'm queen of the world and Holly isn't." I'd be lying if I said I didn't wish she'd have fussed about certain things, but she didn't. Woo. Even on HS she's got class. Who knew?
Speaking of class, I watched Chicago last night when I should have been resting. Woo. Some seriously weird dreams resulted from that, but still, good times. Bad hair a lot of the time, but good movie.
Also watched Gilmore Girls. I so need a fun flask. I mocked Cassaliscious for wanting a flask for a friend's wedding, but if Cass [former roommate] marries her idiot, I am going to need a fun flask. Back to GG, you had nearly sloshed Emily [wheee!], goofy happy Richard who so should not have neglected to tell Emily about those lunches. When it's been going on for three, nearly four, decades, perhaps the gal should be in the loop. Or something. Icky Paris kissage [eeeeee! my mind now feels dirty all over again! dirty!], weirdly happy Luke, a cameo by Lane, Gypsy, and Patty, and they went and made it so I can't hate Digger. He actually pulled off the whole date at the grocery store thing. It takes a strong man to be able to pull that off.
Oh, and naked guy was back! Yay! Rory needs a storyline though. The natives are getting restless and they're right. She needs something. I'm content with that something not being a guy, but she needs... something. Just don't ask what. Other than that, I adored the episode. Wanted to marry it. :p Well, not really, but close enough. There've been a lot of frogs... Indeed.
SVU was fairly good, though kinda predictable in parts. Hee. Parts.
Oh, and to round out my massive list of watching too much crap, I caught the end of Will & Grace and who hits on Grace in the elevator? Julian McMahon. Hrmm. The WB's pics for Chris-Crossed prove that Alyssa takes her bad fashion off the set. [that orange thing she wore to the napster party.. thing]
And Miss Heidi luv? I attempted to stalk you on MSN, but no Heidi to be found. *sobs*
