silly billy kind of day.
Dec. 20th, 2003 05:32 pmToday wasn't the disaster I predicted. Yay! Sure, I had to wake up before noon. Before 11 even, and yes, shopping was on the list. But it didn't involve a thousand places and Dad didn't try and bankrupt us further by buying a million things. Plus I scored a Pepsi outta the deal. Yay!
Of course now I have to wrap some odd shaped presents. If my brother were here, I'd send him into the eaves and see if he could find the Christmas lights and the boxes. But no, he's out.
Now, what made today extra speshul. Last night Thomas [nephew] and Jackie spent the night. Today was nice and sunny, so I got to ask if Thomas could come out and play. ;) Nothing makes a day more fun than throwing leaves at a little kid and then shrieking with them as they run around the yard. Wheeeeee! Of course he found every ant bed in the front yard. But I don't think they managed to get him, despite his insistence on standing right on top of them. :p
Good stuff. I hope Christmas is this much fun. Then I might not mind the lack of gifts [partly my lack of gifts and partly my lack of funds to have given gifts, so you don't end up thinking I'm terribly materialistic. Well, more so than you thought before.]
Annnnnnd, to keep the boy quiet for about ten seconds, I managed to trick my father into buying some chocolate the boy and mom both like. Woo. I'm a sneaky lil witch. But you love me so. Admit it.
So. In previous news, I talked to A2 the other day. So cute! So funny. So easily amused in a good way. :D Also talked to heather via MSN when Hogwarts was being renovated. Loverly she is. *sniff* Loverly people!
Hrmm. My toes are now very, very cold. I think this means I should go clean my room some more, light some candles, and dance around. :)
