Television re-cap, dahling.
Jan. 23rd, 2004 12:31 amScrubs: I love this show. Honestly, I think I would be able to give up all my other shows if it meant Scrubs would stay forever and still entertain me.
Tru Calling had one serious flaw. I figured out who did it far too early. :p I got the motive backwards, but still. Frustrating when you can't even pretend the other people are suspects. *coughs*
Though I'm wondering if we were told how the blue hell Candy [I'll call her Candy, just because I can] seemed to know about Tru's little gift. Somehow I doubt she'd be able to figure out exactly what Linds would pick for Tru to wear, even if someone's taste was exactly the same as it was in high school. It's just... weird. I demand an explination!
...or not.
Angel: Nothing really stuck out for me. It wasn't a bad episode, it just didn't do anything for me. Sure, I laughed at bits [Fred's part in the hallucination was worth a snort or two] and wondered at others, but mostly I was just watching and wondering if Fred & Harmony were wearing the same outfits as in the promo photos. :p Not exactly a good thing for a show.
Gilmore Girls: See above for overall blah. But there were standouts for me. Michel? So totally a stand out. Digger's guest room? Indeed. His dog? Amusing. But overall it lacked something. I've finally come around to the way of thinking that says Rory needs something to do. Lorelai gets to float between her Inn & dating, but Rory seems to get nada. Which, I guess makes up for having to put up with the Jess/Dean/no, Jess/No, Dean dance, but still. Maybe the thing with Paris will involve her more. *shrug*
Got my TV Guide featuring all sorts of God fearing shows. Woo. Shiny cover, so long as shiny just means spiffy.
Hrmm. The more I hear about what's happening with PoA [Harry Potter], the more twitchy I become. I mean new director certainly means things will change. On the other hand, every damn interview I read where he actually says anything he basically dances all around the set saying, "Those first two movies? They sucked. No, seriously. I know exactly what these should be like and I will change whatever I feel like. So kiss it, bitches." Ah well.
Hee. The radio keeps playing this old ad for GG/Smallville Tuesday nights. I am endlessly amused by this for some reason.
Eee! The updated Charmed figures? I so want. Before I just was going to buy Piper [and maybe Paige] because, you know, good ol' Holly Jo. But now...Well, Piper's head is actually too small, but still. Piper! And Paige? Woo. Phoebe? She's a man, baby. A man. A horribly disfigured man. Did Prue have something to do with that? ;)
Now. I need to save up either *thinks* an extra $9 bucks, or $24 + S&H. Joy. I will own those two, even if I have to kill someone to do it. *muses*
