never there...
Mar. 7th, 2004 01:37 amToday was windy and rainy and filled with nephew shrieks of "my pooh bear!" Yeah. He can't identify me, but he knows Winnie the Pooh and all Pooh's friends. :p Of course he's also got a buzz cut, so I guess I have to cut him some slack.
Finished last night's book. It was really, really good. I don't know what I was expecting, but... all things considered, if I had the cash, I'd buy it. And now you must all run out and feel silly [well, some of you] about checking it out. Diabetic vampires. Yeah, man. And Wayne! Wayne's a mindfuck unto himself. *twitches*
So, with that finished, I finally move onto my Talula inspired stash. Tonight's literary pick? American Godsby Neil Gaiman. Because it's due first. :p So far, so weird. In a thoroughly good way, mind you.
That reminds me. If someone is bored and needs a fantabulous read, I reach down into my comic book bag of oldies and present this gem that you should find: Clockwork Angels by Lea Hernandez. No excuses. Amazon has this puppy, so you can at least look at the cover, scream, and be done with it. I don't know why I thought of it just now though. Ah well. Go forth and read, damn it.
Or not.
Full moon tonight. Hopefully someone is being extra naughty in honor of it.
