*grumbles* I'm still not used to these glasses. I guess I shouldn't be so surprised by this considering I haven't had them for more than 24 hours and sometimes it takes a couple of weeks to fully get used to a new prescription, but... I feel kind of weird. Off balance. Probably because I'm starting to suspect that the glasses are crooked. Or that my head just makes the glasses all wonky. OR maybe I'm used to having slightly crooked glasses and so having ones that aren't will take some time to get used to?
Hrmm. That might be the right theory, now that I think about it. Anyway. I'm the proud owner of two new pairs of glasses. It figures the prettier pair seems to be the one that will take the most getting used to. [Like my sunnies were the last go round. I finally got used to them. Yesterday. They were, btw, about six years old. That should tell you something. :p]
If I knew where the digital camera ran away to [I suspect the boy. Ew. Bad thoughts], I'd take pics. Because unlike my last pair, these are tiny. Itsy bitsy. So, of course I have to get used to the smaller field of perfect vision. On the upshot, I can see. Who knew I'd gotten so blind with the glasses on? Oh yeah.
I hate having my eyes checked. Hate it. Because I always, always manage to uh, fail. :p I say fail because they had a huge ass letter E projected on the wall and I couldn't see it. I only know it was an E [and huge] because when I slipped the glasses on again I saw how freakin' huge the damn thing was. Oi! Also, what's the point in them dilating your eyes? It hurts and you feel like a space alien once the stuff kicks in and then they go and shine a light into your eyes. Owwie.
But what did I buy the first time I wore my new glasses? The E-Pregnancy issue wif Holly. Because even at the rip off of $4.99, it had Holly, damn it. HOLLY! Dead sexy.
Anywho. Anyone got some weird love affair with Beyonce, Chad Michael Murray, or Christina? If so, I have picture whorage for you. If not, then I guess I add them to the giant bonfire this fall. One of these years I will actually have that damn bonfire. Honest.
La. I'm thirsty. I think I'll go have some water. Then some milk. And finally get the Pepsi you all know I need.
And my "spend the summer @ TS3" banner is gorgeous. I can say this because I made it and because I'm allowing myself to be a smidge vain about that banner.
Btw: Sugar & Cooling are still some of my most favorite Tori songs ever. But the little CD did nada for me. Woe. Plus I had to get the boy to open the CD case for me to get to my DVD. I felt like such a blind dork.
