The phrase it was a bittersweet moment, a time of reflection has now been yanked away from anyone over the age of 12. You may blame the blathering twit Mandolyn, an Ink contributor. I've read some crap in the Ink section [that's the teen section. Tuesdays] because I used to read Mandy's articles and would then be suckered into other articles, but some just.. blow. And some are sentimental pieces of garbage that take away from the truly interesting stuff. Like, the article on Mean Girls. I don't care what it means to be a senior at TrAshley Hall. I'd imagine it's quite similar to being a senior just about anywhere else. Only some more estrogen thrown in.

I might be overly cranky because I didn't get off of work until 8:30 despite the fact that my replacement was there on time. But due to a headache that apparently has lasted the past two days, she felt the need to go outside, yak away on her cell phone for ten minutes and then disappear for ten minutes when she came back inside. Oi. Had I known she was going to do that, I would have flagged Christie down and begged her to take over for me. Grrr...

But on a happier note, I have Two Princes [spin doctors? anyone remember them prior to Blender being a bitch about the song?] stuck in my head. And because my head is a little movie theatre, there's a little memory to go along with. Summer of... I dunno. I'd guess somewhere between 9-12. I could narrow it down if I really thought about it based on what years I spent at Rivers Middle for Oasis, but I'm lazy and can't. Anyway, because I was at Rivers, that meant Anne Marie was there. [Our mothers were best friends and as such we've known each other since the day I was born. literally] We were going home and we stopped at the video store and picked up Clue. Rejoice! Because neither one of us had seen it. And then the song came on the radio and there was singing along and insanity...
