Work is dreadfully dull. I don't understand why the night shift no longer gets to do the totes or much of anything anymore. Instead we do nothing but clean and front face. Which is, essentially, cleaning but with a slightly fancier name. This is fine once or twice a week. I'm sure the store really needs it on a Monday night after a weekend rush. Or on a Friday night as the rush begins. Fab. Lovely. But Monday - Wednesday? No. No wonder all the new night people are wanting to quit. They're bored out of their fucking skulls. At least before we had two or three nights of stuff to do. Now it's only Saturday.
I'm hoping tonight I get to rip down all the signs for the now dead Savings thinger. It'll give me thirty minutes of work.
... *cries*
Oooh. Live-ish Dexter Freebish on the radio. They ain't fan-bloody-tastic like OLP is live, but they don't suck. Which reminds me. I haven't seen near enough bands live. Nope. I've seen like... eight. No, wait, nine. Moody Blues count too, even if I went half deaf due to some moron who was 30-something and still couldn't identify half the songs when I could. [Idiot.] For those oddly curious: some spiffy band from Georgia that I never did catch the name of because they weren't on any of the flyers or anything. They were better than some of the mentioned bands thought. Train, Our Lady Peace [my favorite. hands down], Crazytown [they sucked as much as I thought they would. More, actually], Five for Fighting, Collective Soul [do not throw bottles at the band, dude], Sister Hazel, & American Hi Fi. I was spoiled by that concert. I refuse to go if I don't want to see at least half the bands playing. Just... refuse.
Anyway. I need sleep, desperately.
But now I remember why I don't go looking around Tori sites. I get a giant case of the "I want!"s. Seriously dangerous. Only thing more dangerous is if I had money.
