^ Funny stuff.
Anyway. I left work early last night [being stopped every two feet by someone asking, "Were you here yesterday when it happened" or "Why are you here?" did not help time move any faster. Time. Sucking. Void.] and started my weekend a few hours earlier than expected. Sigh.
So, after an hour or so of re-reading A Kiss of Shadows [Nicca is violet and lilac!] I decided to brave the DVD player and see if I could get it to work. What do you know, I turn it to channel 3, flip it over to DVD and there's the blue screen of welcome. Ran upstairs, grabbed Thirteen and watched. Wow. Painful movie much? ERW is just as spiffy as I thought she'd be when I watched Practical Magic and her stint on Profiler. Holly Hunter is fantabulous. I love her. I didn't always realize this, but in the last five or so years? She's pretty much inched her way up to goddess standing without being obnoxious about it. Yah. Only one problem. Given various books, movies, TV shows, etc, am I the only person on the planet who was twelve in seventh grade? :p
