I'm having one of those days/weeks/months/years where I just can't seem to find anything fantastically good about me. Or that I'm good at. This is not making me happy, for what I hope are obvious reasons.
I miss Ryan. I miss having cookouts with Ari and Cass, even if they almost always nearly set fire to me.
It's no fun having a new "woo! cleavage!" shirt and having no one to admire it in any way.
On the other hand, deboxed the cosmic duo. I need to find names for them. I do know a little something about them personality wise, which is always nice.
For those who wondered, two major factions of humanity were heard from this morning.
The people most likely to save shopping for mother's day at the last moment? Guys. Duh. But guys in their mid-twenties until just before they hit 50 or so. After that, they've already bought just about everything.
The second group? Annoying young couples. *strangles*
After awhile I wanted to smack people and say, "What the hell is the matter with you? It's not like Mother's day just fell out of the sky! Don't you love your mama enough to buy her stuff before you have to spend six hours finding an envelope that's entirely the wrong size? She's going to notice. Wouldn't that hurt your feelings? Dumbass."
I didn't. I was tempted, but I didn't. So. Remember, tis mother's day. Which means grandmothers, aunts, sisters, godmothers, the lady down the street who raised you while your mother was off "finding herself", and more. Go be nice to someone who didn't kill you when she had the chance.
