never coming home
Jan. 10th, 2006 07:19 amIt's a wedding, I get that, but sweet baby boy who lived, why would anyone think I'd flip for floral? The black one, if you feel brave. Oi. Floral. *weeps* At least it isn't orange. Or strangely bad-slinky.
My kitty cat is mewing in that way that means she lost me. Woe!
Eeee! They're playing Ghost of You on wave. Yay! I can potentially die happy now. [since that completes the holy trinity of singles] Final Princi horror to come later.
Got a call from Ryan yesterday. :) Though I've come to the conclusion that in certain areas, guys are just stupid.
Oh. A couple of things.
1) They're closing my Toys R Us. Which sucks for a variety of reasons, namely, Target must have known they were winning this battle, and in true walmart fashion, have decided that now that they've taken out half the competition, they don't need to stock as many toys. Sonsofbitches. While the North Charleston TRU has always been better about getting new stuff and actually putting it out on the shelves, it takes an act of God to get out there. But most importantly, I went to that TRU when I was little. I remember when the Party City section of the shopping block [it's not so much a center if it only has three stores, right?] was part of Toys R Us. I remember buying some of my favorite toys when I was little there. It's a teeny tiny piece of my childhood and poof. Gone. Excuse me while I cry.
Needless to say, it was packed on Sunday when I went in. The sale also blew. 10% off their highest prices, despite the signs to the contrary. And the thing is, most of the parents had started to realize that. The kids realized that. When the "omg! shiny toys! I want them all!" type realizes they could get more elsewhere during a store closing liquidation sale, there's a problem. :p
2) Stupid as it is of me to be upset when one of the animals does something they're genetically expected to do, I'm still not exactly thrilled that Angel ran outside and somehow managed to catch and kill a bird. I'm not sure who was more surprised. She had no idea what to do with it after she brought it out of the bushes, and it was in no way as bad as her torturing the squirrel, but still. Animal deaths bother me.
3) My brother did move out Sunday. But he'll be back, maybe to pick up stuff, maybe forevvvver, this Friday. Go figure. Until then, I will enjoy the hell out of not having to go downstairs to get to my room from here. I can just cut through his. Hee!
Now. Things to do today:
-Shower
-Laundry
-stalk the mailman
-find something to eat
-sleep
-clean up the magazines in here
-work
