aftermath

Work brought forth the curse of Friday the 13th. We spent the first three hours [after 12] yanking all the deleted items from the cosmetics wall for a massive reset. When that was done, and our arms and hands hurt, our eyes were slightly cross-eyed, and I was annoyed yet in awe of how Kathleen had turned an hour long 'chore' into an all night affair [she was supposed to clean the chrome doors. This usually only includes three doors. She went after every shiny thing in the store]. Well, then the next thing I know, Mad Madam H is about ready to kill someone. Apparently all the Sally Hansen stuff we'd just spent all friggin' night yanking because it was on the delete list? Yeah, guess what was on the 'add' list? That's right. The same friggin' stuff. The exact. Same. Stuff. If you're a bit confused, that makes two of us. Generally the adds are brand new stuff. It's not even like they changed a number here or there. Word for word, number for number, in the same order on the list of doom no less.

Saw someone I used to go to school with at work. It was weird since I didn't recognise him until two seconds before I asked for a name. And even then it was a guess. In my head, people don't really age and, dude, he had. But he was nice, which is always a good thing. Well, usually. But it's nice to know that people can remember you without flinching.

*does the wedding snooping sort of dance* I finished the etiquette book. Some of it new, some of it obvious, some of it very useful. Some makes the brain go 'splody. All this aside, I'm back to wanting my sham marriage. Ideally, it wouldn't be a sham. But realistically, I'm not so sure. Either way, it could be fun. Bridesmaid hell convenes tomorrow.
