Horsies and cows, and blowing up Bruce

The drive to Walterboro is long. And creepy. And long. Very long. I'm not big on huge cities. The lone expedition to New York damn near fried my brain cells. [Or maybe it was the drive. Hmm.] I don't really like busy parts of any city. But the two hours worth of drive through pretty much nothing but dead trees? Creepy. Sure, I reverted to ten year old girl status and shrieked everytime I saw horses and ooohed and ahhhed at some of the gorgeous homes that can count their land in acres. Still, a little creepy.

The drive ended at Walgreens, which I had to go investigate. Smaller than ours. Set up so as to feel extremely claustrophobic too. You walk into our Walgreens, and you go blind due to all the light. You walk into theirs and it seems very dark. But! They had Teen Tees Nolee and, uh, I bought her. Actually, Mumsy bought her. :D The Nolee army now has yet another member. Oh yes, a good day.

Why the drive out to nowhere? To pick up the widget! :D Which was fun for about forty minutes, and thirty of them were spent in the parking lot while Mom did her mom thing for Jackie. [I love my mommy.] And then widge kept asking about his Daddy. Who didn't make the drive out because he wasn't necessarily going to be home when we got there. So it was an hour and a half of, "I'm gonna see my Daddy." "Maybe, I hope so." "I'm gonna see my Daddy!" And neither of us was willing to lie to him on that. He'd say the sky was purple and I'd say sure, but no lies about the daddy.

I think I would like another slice of pizza and I'm off to read Uglies.
